Does the sea sickness go away after a couple days? Great Vid as always. Love it when your on the sail.
Pirates Hate dynamite launchers and spear guns….Too bad we can't carry 1919 .30 cals. Machineguns.
Hey Jupiter, great entertainment as always! Poor Princess… have you tried with travel sickness tablets? Stugeron or similar?
Nice one .sail on
Great video guys! as always! … Caribbean "Halo-Halo" by Jupiter II!……
i love seeing Jupiter2 underway.
Great speeds for pointing into the wind.
Your wife is so innocent.. we feel for her…😊
Sweet radio! 😁
Hey guys! Love your videos and have been watching for a while now; living my life vicariously thru you until I fulfil my dream and get onto the open sea. Maybe next year I will be able. Keep up the great content and the best of wishes to the both of you. Landlubber from NW UK.
You two are the only ones that I watch that wear your safety gear. Thank you for being responsible.👍🏻
Jamie, You have the coolest sailing channel! I love your style and catamaran of course. What's the story about both of you calling each other B? When you started turning south, that's called a header when your going up wind. That's when you should have tacked. Now you know for next time.
Enjoyed as always. Glad you guys didn't run into any nefarious folks on your trip. Loved meeting you at Annapolis. Fair winds
Love the length of your videos they are like mini documentary’s, safe travels. Will you ever sail back to Australia ❤
The things you must do to keep safe is part of the work needed I guess.
I caught a glimpse of you in photos from the Annapolis Boat Show. I hope that you had a good time. I'm looking forward to seeing your footage. No pirates. 🏴☠
B’s a trooper !
Mate That Boat is awsome Its a Tank ,A comfy Tank
Please don't make Princess sail full time. She deserves a nice home base and air travel vacations. Come-on man.
Enjoyed, good music also. SSB rocks, weather, keeping up with friends….Thx, A&S
Just awesome 🙂
You need to go closer to the coast of Nicaragua, fishing for the “square grouper” 😉😉😉(originally from Colombia) lol
I thought it was only somalia that was the only issue but now I know be safe guys
I always thought that I'd like a HF SSB set to cross oceans with. It could relieve some boredom and be a bit of fun to see how far contacts could be made. An antenna changing axis in rough seas could make trying to work skip tricky. Sorry to hear about the sea sickness Princess, that must be bloody hard.
Good Content
Nice licks old mate. Is that you?
I do not know if your HF is a HAM or SSB. I have an have had a HAM radio aboard three different boats while crossing the Pacific. 14,300Mz on HAM is ideal for the Pacific Seafarers Net. Net control is based in Hawaii. Daily check in and they usually have a weather guy on standby at check-in time. That really helped me out on a trip to Raratonga.
There are a couple of nets in the Atlantic on the same frequency that operate almost 24 hours a day.
I used a simple wire antenna like yours with good success on all three boats. I was able to contact a fellow HAM on a boat just off the California coast while I was in the S.Pacific around Tahiti. With good propagation I could easily talk with him using only 10 watts on transmit.
If you mount your tuner back aft you can hoist the antenna with a small halyard(6mm) to the mast head. Just remember you have to tack or gybe the wire before the mainsail.
I love it when Jupiter² is actually sailing. Doing what it was built to do.
This so demonstrates the importance of having a well designed performance cat that can sail well to windward (and you're doing 9 knots or so under storm jib and one reef in the main). I'm not sure why you wouldn't want a boat like yours. I had a smaller cousin to yours-
a Pescott whitehaven-we could do the same thing.I feel like you 2 are safe But an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure .. You 2 will both be safe…. I feel it in my bones. Princess I Kno how scary it can be… But I promise your far enough off .. I trust Jamie your both amazing people ✌🏼💗😊❣️
That passage looked rough! Never fun but it always seems worth it once you’ve arrived. 😂 Sorry to hear Princess gets so seasick! I struggle with that when it’s really rough. 🤢
I really enjoyed this episode; nice low key delivery of a rather tricky run. Also putting paid to the ‘cats don’t go to windward’ bs. We go to windward like a train on ours, and so do you!
Hey, You guys still here in Cayman. Drop the hook for a couple days, you can hang out in our vacant condo, maybe even be able to get you some dental work, if you need any? Dr Bert and Myline (Philippino Wife)
An actual sailing video, very good guys.
Watching the speed of your boat makes me a little envious – if I ever sell my Leopard 44, I'll look for a little faster boat – yours seems to have very comfortable living spaces but still hauls ass….damn, must be nice. Keep up the good work.
Watch "Sailing Parlay Revival" to get motivated and get you out of your slump.
O and to fix seasickness tell your wife lay on back with head off the end of bed hang head upside down off end of bed for 5 mins then lay flat on bed for 5 mins then stand up and go out Side and look at horizon for a while, THIS WILL RESET THE CRYSTALS IN HER INNER EAR…. keep me informed….
We enjoyed this ideo so much. The music, the story, the drama, everything was great. It's a hard passage for sure. Great job.🌴🦘😎⚓️⛵️
Great episode! Stay safe and keep sailing! 👍👍
I hope the pirates aren't watching your YouTube channel.
CNt believe you as well as sooo many other pass up the beautiful Jamaica 🇯🇲. One of the places you will never forget if you go. I travel all over the world and been to Jamaica 19 times. Most beautiful places, beaches, people on earth! Fun never stops! You live on island time where there's no rush as they say "soon comes when you ask for something and of course it arrives fast but people just don't rush doing everything. Music is lots of reggae and Bob Marley and lots of fresh 🥭 mangos and Bob MARLEY Redb Weed. Best smoke on earth! I do not knkw why most cruisers pass it up because onece you've been you will either not want to leave or will return. It's that beautiful and so much to see and do. Especially up in the blue mountains. Why did you guys skip it? Enjoys this episode as always. Hugs from #1 Tennessee fan 🇺🇸 USA!!!
Yeaha, what a ride. A passage in rough see, no fun….bad pirates , fingers crossed
shut off ais thru pirate waters.
HI thank you for your videos
i don't believe it. That is the same morning shake i make!???
