"No trees here"… Are you sure of that? I once visited Frobisher Bay (the name has changed since) and while there were no great tall trees, there did seem to be conifers that were as wide around as a normal tree but only an inch or so tall and acted as more of a ground covering. As such the "branches" were not any thicker 1/8 inch (3mm… I'm old enough to have grown up with inches). I realize, light all night, that this was filmed some time ago so you will likely not be able to check if such growth exists, that's ok, maybe it will give you some more reason to go back… 😉

Going from Bahamas to 72 degrees north would certainly be a shock to the system. Definitely a change from sailing in the tropics to sledding in the extreme far north. You are certainly lucky to be able to afford going to the places you do and living the good life. Keep up the filming because we that are less fortunate appreciate being able to see these adventures through your camera lenses.👍👍🇨🇦
Dog sledding on the snow, all bundled up, piled with blankets, ski goggles on if necessary, is soooo fun‼️ Come to Canada and give it a try 🇨🇦
Honestly, I didn't like the dog sledding thing! The dogs may have been treated nicely, by Norwegian standards, but not mine 🙁 Norway is a beautiful country. I think it's better in the snow. Think I'll wait for the sailing next week. Loving Lenny's haircut though, he looks so grown up. Stay warm guys xxx

You weren't in the snow so you were not Dog Sledding. You were not driving the sled. So you were not really doing the fun thing about it. All in all you had a bad experience because you were not prepared and did not go at the right time. The dogs smell different when its snowing. They do not wash them much because they need that oil on their skin for protection from the cold. You just picked a lousy time to go. It really is a blast if your in the snow and properly prepared. 🙂
