În acest videoclip, testez stilul de viață live la bord, rămânând pe o ancoră peste noapte și aducându-l înapoi la bord! Vă arătăm, băieți, modelul nostru de unde am legănat la ancoră peste noapte! Este super tare să văd că aplicația îmi urmărește mișcările! Vă arăt băieților noua mea ancoră de ciuperci pe care am primit-o și o folosesc pentru prima dată pentru un snorkel rapid cu puii Maui și Kiki. Peștele portocaliu și albastru sunt preferatele mele! Apoi vă arăt cum îmi trag dopul balansoarului și îl pun deoparte! (Puncte bonus pentru oricine îmi poate spune de câte ori am spus „Rocker Stopper” în videoclip! Lol) Apoi trag ancora, ceea ce a fost o provocare! Din fericire, planul meu a funcționat, și anume să trag o frânghie, să o desprind și să trag slăbiciunea prin șliț, repetă. Acest lucru a funcționat pentru a ajunge la lanț, apoi mi-am folosit linia de amortizor pentru a elibera tensiunea din lanț, astfel încât să-l pot înconjura șlițul. In afara camerei (din pacate a murit si a trebuit sa schimb bateria) lantul a alunecat prin trapan si a trebuit sa imi iau unealta ca sa-l strang si din fericire odata ce l-am strans, nu a mai alunecat o data! Apoi șantinul a funcționat Perfect și nu a mai fost nevoit să trag ancora cu mâna! După ce pun ancora deoparte, începem călătoria către golful de smarald, dar mai întâi o oprire în două porturi pentru apă! Bate destul de vânt odată ce ajung în smarald și acostarea a venit cu câteva provocări. Mulțumim pentru vizionare! În următorul videoclip vă voi arăta golful smarald și frumosul snorkeling pe care îl are! Emerald Bay este unul dintre locurile mele preferate în Catalina! Nice another good episode I was just watching wind hippie sailing when you gonna do some adventuring go outside your comfort zone I’m looking forward to that break and waves should be somewhere around where you’re at right now you should look them up it helps with the numbers just saying you know what I mean I enjoyed the episode keep up the good work

  4. A better option for a second anchor instead of a mushroom is a Danforth or fluke anchor. They stow flat, and can't be beaten in mud by any other anchor. The Mushroom tends to drag whenever any kind of real force is put to it. A Danforth is how I reeled in my wife. I told her I had a Hooker tied up in the basement, and I asked if she wanted to see it. She grabbed a kitchen knife and followed me into the basement. It was a Hooker brand Danforth anchor tied up down there, and I told her I liked sailing. We've been married for 20 years now.

Hello, I started watching your videos, your problem with the anchor is that you have the wrong rope, I have the same motor for the anchor and it works very well, my boat is a power boat and it only has 20 ft of chain, and in another video I noticed that the negative of your battery is oxidized, if you don't clean it well you will start to have problems….I like your videos good luck.

  24. Hi Captain, awesome video!! I have a Lewmar Vx1 windlass on my 26 foot boat and it is designed to use Rode and Chain both. I use 5/8 3 strand rode with 1/4 inch chain and have never had a problem with it pulling up the rode and transitioning to the chain. maybe they make a Gypsy for your windlass that would work the same.

  27. Ever considered bringing on someone looking for sailing experience to train for their captain certification?
    I bought a 30' sailboat with little to no experience now looking to get certified but not really interested in giving alot of money to big businesses and would rather give that income to actual sailors living the dream on the water.
    What is your opinion on this perspective?

  36. An easier was to pull up the anker rope is to run it to your winch on the side of the mast. This is assuming you have a winch on the side of the mast. I couldn't tell in the video.
