I really enjoyed the Q&A session with John Heald and crew. I turned on the Transcript to help me understand the captain’s description of the next steps of the ship’s end of life. At 7:29 of the transcript, instead of “to beach the ship”, it transcribed it as “to teach the sheep”. Added a little humor to a sad situation.
Speaking of the 'Playlist Cast' We had the pleasure of being in the Piano Bar with them late on the night they did the Brits show for the last time. They all sang with Roger (the piano player) and it was truly amazing. The only downside was there was one real 'Karen' in the piano bar that night that took offense to them being in there as 'crew members' She cussed them all as she angrily stomped out of the piano bar. I took it upon myself to apologize to the kids from the cast on her behalf. Some people are just rude. They are all very talented and in talking with them, they are all bidding on contracts now on other Carnival ships.

I’m sad they’re saying goodbye to the smaller ships…may be land cruises or staycation for us….hated the Mardi Gras and I hated the royal princess….I appreciate growing but when you’re exhausted going from one side or end to the other and the small elevators make the time to get around then it is time to sleep or eat again….not us. I guess you are after one time only cruisers….sorry dee and jay for allowing me to vent. Thank you! Will live vicariously through you!
