  1. Another super episode, your editing skills get better and better and the choice of the song at the end of the day was inspired. I loved Aladino's video choice too – but I'm a bloke 😊Looking forward to next weeks episode already .. Dave

  2. Thanks for your nice comments of our lovely town of Aalborg, I'm english/danish living in Aalborg. Funny you walk round Vester Bådhavn where I formerly worked on a 40 foot sealing vessel. Love watching your builds and adventures. Forsat go' vind

  3. Hello, thank you for taking us to Aalborg. I myself also remember Aalborg very well because I bought my Koopmanns32 in the exact same port you were in. So thanks again for taking us with you. Alex

  4. Thanks for this very nice stretch up to Aggersund Bridge and you made it pass.
A little note on red and green lights… There is no green lights. One red light= no passage, 2 or 3 blinking lights=bridge is opening and 2 or 3 fixed lights= bridge is open for passage.
2 light are inbound and 3 outbound direction.
Looking forward to your next trip here.

  5. Tacking without losing speed with a long keeled boat is an artform. Here it is mastered to the hilt, watch and learn. The key is to not back the sail and get it slowly back to work, a heavy(ish) boat with a long keel can keep the speed nicely if one does not brake it with the sails. Lovely video, makes me want to go sailing immediately. 🙂

  6. Nice video again. Thanks.
You asked about the danish bridge crossing rules – I think they are simple – 1 red – you may not cross, 2 red blinking – crossing from N and E is cooming soon, 2 fast red – you may cross from N and E, 3 red blinking – crossing from S and W is cooming soon, 3 fast red – you may cross from S and W.
Danish Aa or å – a with a little circle above – pronounces as o.
    Hilsner fra Denmark!

  7. Signals from brigde When a ship or vessel shows or has given a signal to indicate that the bridge is desired to be opened, the following response signal will be emitted from the signal mast on the N-straight pylon both during the day and at night: 1) 1 red, fixed light, which means that passage through the hatch compartment is prohibited, also for ships that can pass without opening the hatch. The signal is given as a response signal when a ship has indicated that it wishes to open the bridge. The signal is emitted approx. 5 minutes before bridge opening or when it is agreed per telephone or VHF and until the bridge can begin opening. 2) 2 red, flashing lights, which means that the bridge will be opened for a ship coming from E. This signal is emitted from the time when the opening of the bridge begins and until the bridge is fully open. Passage must not take place before the signal under point 3 is given. 3) 2 red, fixed lights, which mean that a ship coming from E can pass the bridge. This signal is emitted when the bridge is open. 4) 3 red flashing lights signifying that the bridge will be opened for a ship coming from the W. This signal is given from the time the opening of the bridge is commenced until the bridge is fully open. Passage may not take place before the signal under point 5 is given. 5) 3 red, steady lights, meaning that a ship coming from W can pass the bridge. This signal is emitted when the bridge is open. Both during the day and at night, a strong sound signal given by the siren at the passage will indicate that the bridge cannot be opened, despite the given signal for passage; if conditions permit, the signal for passage will also be switched off and a red light will be switched on.

  8. I can't say enough how much I adore your story telling an music choices. Of course your violin playing as well… Thanks again for sharing your lives with us. Grateful for the wisdom shared too✌🏼💗😊❣️

  9. Another absolutely video. I lived in a 48 Morgan Out Island sailboat for two years in the Fl. Keys, going up and down the East coast and to the Abacos in the Bahamas. Living aboard is such a special, beautiful, enchanting, and adventuresome way to live. But, I do remember the anxiety, apprehensiveness, and sometimes sharp words that came about when trying to get through a bridge in a new area with lots of other boats and impatient bridge tenders. All part of the beauty to me now. Thank you for the boat yard tour Dino, it was delightful seeing Aalborg through your eyes.

  10. Hi, and thanx for a beautifull channel 😉 I just noticed you have a winch on the rooftop. Is it extra reinforced under the roof? And are you just using a pulley to get the rope change direction out of the mastfoot? I am considering doing this on my Vindø 32 and would really appreciate if you have time and will to answer 😉 Hope you are enjoying scandinavia 😀 Best regards from Norway

  11. at 05:51 she said, did you notice that the windmills are facing in other directions?
Typical something that a woman picks up when they look around.
They have an eye for details
    ❤👀

  12. This means that I bought my boat – when I was roughly in the same place where you are now – as ten years ago. My boat is almost the same as the one you are sailing in now, and which I have been very happy with, but which I will have to sell now. I live with my boat in Nivå – where you are welcome – Især hvis du vil have ens både 😂🤣
