9. In the south of France on the Med at Cassis, the inlets from the sea are finger shape with rock cliffs along each side of the water. These are called Callanques, so it seems Calla is the Spanish term for the same. I was never sure if the callanque is the land or the water

12. It's not that we are losing interest in sailing! I for one greatly enjoy all my favorite youtubers. Just that the allotted time for watching vids has to be shifted. Covid made it easy to spend way too many hours watching and like many activities and businesses, a return to "normalcy" is in order. I'm sailing a lot more! That is a good thing ; )

41. Watched this video on a 3000 mile eastbound between Fremont, CA to Fishkill, NY. Got snow in the Sierras at Donnor and then again at Vail Summit. Always keeps the retirement ambers burning. 8.5 years and finally off the road and back on the water.
