One of your best productions – it was equally beautiful – enthralling – and horrifying – with those crowds of people. Those ancient ruins really make you step back and think about how the world those people lived in – isn't even close to the world we know. That's what I love about history – the ability to have a step back in time – and a foot in the present. I bet it felt good to be done with the hubbub of all those people.

In those throngs of people it must be a “Pickpocket’s Paradise”. The stonework by the masons is spectacular but I still have questions about how they built the Pyramids as do many in the scientific and archaeological communities.
Amazing! I really hope the pirates zone gets more controlled and more sailors have the chance to enjoy the attractions of this "road less travelled". Thanks for showing a few peculiarities of Egypt and its culture. I;m not a big fan of crowds, maybe I wouldn't see the insode of many the temples but their outside is already worth it! You two are so amazing! I am just trying so hard to convince my wife of this lifestyle. I wonder, do you have children? I only ask because I have 2 kids (18 and 22). She worries we would not see them enough. Anyways, I love Egypt but the crowds seem out of control. We plan on visiting in the late Spring. Keep up the great videography and showing us what it means to truly be alive.

My dad worked for AUC (American University in Cairo) for 3 1/2 years in the early 2000's. My wife and I spent a Christmas in Egypt while my parents were there. We did a Nile cruise and visited lots of the Egyptian ruins. It is an amazing place.
I would not enjoy such crowded areas.
