Great video Paul! The run outside was a lot of fun. I'm glad I did it.
Hopefully I pack enough to stay longer next time and meet a few of the guys. If you'll have us along again :p.
Apart from sleeping on a sharp angle at night in that shallow area, the Pacific was great.
Cheers
Andrew
Ha ha , David a friend of mine went to the pub a Pattonga…many beers later he went to the warf and couldn't find his boat…it went under the warf then got crushed and sunk with the rising tide..
Love the Big Water scenes Paul – simpley delightful watching another boat nearly disapear behind a swell! I've got to get out in the Atlantic and feel it as well. Thank you
Another beautiful video. Love watching them and I will be out as soon as I can.
👍👍👍
Mikey Floyd designed and built a nice wee cruising boat too.
All is well with the world when I watch your videos – so relaxing but also makes me itch to get back out there ASAP. Many thanks Paul.
I have not yet been out in a swell like that, but I never go out if the wind is more than 8m/sek. Both my boat and I are old, so we don't react too fast 🙂
But seeing this makes me wonder if I should try it some time. It's nice to know how much you can handle 👍
that was different from usual vids great to see coastal sailing
Thanks for another great sail paul and yes Kate Louise is still the prettiest girl on the water cheers
Whenever I've gone in more wind than I'm use to, I find myself bouncing and tipping all night in my camper. I suppose that's a normal reaction for new sailors!
No the kayakers are less brave than you are, a kayak will probable take worse swell than you do (having done kayaking and dinghy sailing).
You moved me to Vancouver BC but I like living here in Vancouver WASHINGTON USA!!!!!
Blinking brilliant! I love every second of your videos. You know when you stop for lunch/beer somewhere, I would like to see that as well if possible 😉 good health and best wishes to all you raiders!
Wonderful raid Paul. Liked seeing how your boat handled the chop off the coast. Well done!
We're going to have a BEER. Because WINE not?
Great video. i'm very envious of the cruising grounds you have to choose from down there. Quite right about the coffee, I always say "nothing happens before coffee"!!!
I have to say that Kate Louise was the prettiest little boat in the anchorage – probably on any given night, if I'm honest. Thanks for all the great videos!
have you thought of a pulley anchoring system were you drop the anchor out, then with a loop line, secure the other end on the beach , save swimming 🙂
Is the flag Finish/Swedish?
I love your videos and Kate Louise. Might I suggest that you put some "baggy wrinkle" on your port and starboard mainstays to save wear and tear on your mainsail.
