1. Top Stuff. I am sure you are working your tail off on the project but I hope you get a chance to enjoy the holidays too. Thanks for the great content Plukky and crew. Happy Holidays everyone 🎄🎄🎄

  2. Yeap, 21 in US. Although when I was 19 the legal drinking age in Alabama was 19. Although, in Mississippi you could buy beer at 18. But….in New Orleans, 17 beer, 18 everything went and goes. Yes, I used to cross them state lines with my friends! Haha. Ahhhh, Memory lane! Thanks Plukkanous!! ❤️

  3. As usual, so enjoyable. Well done Plucky and as previously said the girls are great, having lots of fun being productive as well as in leisure time. They make great ship mates 🙂

  4. 12:35 Plucky , that's the most awkward way of tying an alpine butterfly I've seen , when doing the 3 wrap method I work from the finger end not the wrist end , pull the middle wrap ( to form the loop ) from under the outside wrap ( finger tip end ) , pass it over the whole lot towards the wrist , tuck under all and back out towards the finger tips . Another way many might find easier is to form a loop , make a double twist , roll the loop towards yourself and make a pretzel shape , pass the loop through the "hole" in the middle and dress the knot , alpine butterfly method 2 . Very useful for when a mid line loop is needed and be stressed in any direction and still be able to be undone like a bowline .

Another good episode , you have a knack for picking good crew , hope you all have a great Christmas coming up soon 🙂

  5. It's kinda inspirational to see the girls so enthusiastic about tacking. I don't think I did anything today, I'm enthusiastic about doing that again tomorrow.

  6. I thought I had invented a brand new knot and called it a flying bowline because it looked very similar to a regular bowline knot. I practiced and practiced it and got faster and faster at it and ended up making a flying bowline slip knot by accident. Then I got really proficient at tying that and showed my first mate what I thought I had invented. He said nice try but that was already invented and it was called a flying bowline knot. Damn. Then I showed him the slip knot version and he hadn't seen it before so I ended up inventing a new knot after all. This was aboard TeVega where I spent a year aboard a 165 ft. long gaff rigged schooner.

  7. I think you are a very good instructor, and it's great to see the young folk being looked after so well, nice one. Now I've gotta try rum n dry darn it 😉

  8. Love the girls and the real sailing feel . Need name tags . Glorious Captain
Take them out in the open and you follow along in the dingy.

  9. loved the part where stephie was layin in the sand on the island beach, and gets hit by the tiny wave. that was cool.
katrina's accent and red hair are awesome. probably my favorite crew since I started watching since lisa days.

  10. When these girls go home they will look back on this with love and affection and cherish memories for the rest of their lives! In the end, not that many people get to go to "school" sailing in San Blas…
