TERITORIUL NECHARTATE: Insulă vie insulă | Over The Top S2CH.15

1. 17:39 main reason there’s more plastic rubbish on the islands further north is there’s less people to clean it up. And it’s closer to Asia, where most of the plastic rubbish comes from.

  2. Do you ever use your drone to scout anchorages, and do you ever stand anchor watches? I have found the latter useful because even though you are up through half the night, you sleep a lot better when you are off watch. Keep at it guys. (PS Uni of New England Law Degree, 2002-4, whilst delivering race boats from SA and all up the East Coast. Know a bit about what you are going through).

  3. Merry Christmas guys, and good luck in the race, lived in Melbourne for about 6 years all up and never heard of the Melb-Hobart lol

  4. Interesting that, in 2005, Fife Island was virtually bereft of vegetation, now it is covered in well established vegetation and has a large Palm Tree.

  5. Myles is such a Character, Adds a bit extra life to life.
9.57 What was Chille dreaming about, The little flinch she had.
When those Macky's are about use wire trace if you can, Save ya loosing the lures.
Have a Krackin Safe Christmas Soph, Slim, Chille & Myles.
    Cheers Stevo

  6. Hay guys loving the over the top i look fwd to your vidios each week you both have a vibe that i and many like i see this epasode you have an anchorage guide is this somthing you made or put together your selvs or is it somthing we can find somewhere on the net . also put about 6 inchers of wire in frount of your spoon lure and you will get it back every time . enjoy your selve and keep on blowing over the top MV Joy-C

  7. Looks like a Nijad you will be sailing on . If it is it's one of my favourites. Ran Sailing had a Nijad. André in Sydney, wave when you fly over….

  8. Thanks for the Miles briefing. He is a true friend and a great sailing companion. ⛵️ I'm looking forward to the Hobart race. Please take time with friends and family during the holidays. We'll be here when you return.

  9. ….. shame about the garbage on the beaches …. thongs are no longer thongs here since the term now describes a style of women's bathing bottoms here. There also a few other names for them that we used as kids growing up but with politically correctness are no longer a thing. Think flip-flops is the only name for them here these days, pretty dull compare to some of the names in the past. ….. have fun on your race, sounds exciting. With all that going on hope it allows time for you to grab footage, not only for us but for yourselves to look back on with say kids, grandkids. memories is what you are recording that last a lifetime …. Never used a hand reel but when one sees people maneuvering around whatever obstacles on the back of the boat, hand reel seems the way to go … thx for the share, … as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ….

  10. Just stopped this vid 1/2 way through to say I freaking looooove your journey. So so so good. It’s Claire here (met you at that bar in cairns on the wharf) just switched accts. Whoop!! God Miles is a crack up 😂
