Avem o barcă cu pânze electrică alimentată de un motor electric QT30 LC de iaht și intenționăm să o folosim pe GIWW din Texas până în Florida. Great video guys enjoy the adventu8re and remember safety first and always safety before schedule. your friends are right Radar is a great asset in marginal visibility as is AIS but you should maintain visibility of about 300- 500 yards as a minimum before leaving an anchorage, then the radar and AIS are safety enhancements not all you have.
Were you are going you will not need radar.
Were are you going?
How cool is this! Good luck family! Looking forward to tuning in to your adventure😊👍🌻
Ok how many chargers can your generator support, and how fast can you motor on just the chargers??? We bought 10,000 or those teal plates at Wal-mart you have. .25 per plate!!! I think they are polyethelene.
That’s awesome! A radar would most definitely help. Y’all be safe. See y’all next Sunday.
Y’all don’t forget to hit the like button. Won’t hurt to say hi either.
I didn’t know yaw don’t have radar. Boat have operated for centuries without them but I have seen them avoid catastrophic situations too. It’s nice to look out into the darkness and see that other boat or buoy hiding. AIS is great. 2 way AIS is even better
Smiles all round nice to see
Go Family Go ! GOD Bless !
Great to see you underway, but Todd pls let the anchor chain run round the winch and keep all your fingers attached to your hands!!
Wow. You guys are great. I just found your channel. You guys are quick, funny and capable.
Outstanding.💙💙💙 What a great family adventure.
Really happy for you all! Congratulations!
Stop using all those bolts and nuts that is ballast👍👍🤣😂🤣😂
Cool Spoondrifter crew! Stay safe and keep rolling along!👍👍
Great video! Just an observation, your chain needs to wrap more around your windlass gypsy. Having the chain do a 180 to the hause pipe is ideal.
😁👍
Cutting bait with fabric scissors, that's something even I haven't tried…..
Great drone footage!
If the “lining up two points” is to see if you’re dragging when you set the anchor, you can use your gps. If the numbers don’t change you aren’t moving.
Congratulations. Great watching your progress, through thick and thin. Admire your perseverance. Have a blast.
Wonderful to join you on this very special journey!
congrats! You're on the move.
If I was a live aboard, I would have radar for fog and night sailing , I’m an offshore cruiser just have AIS , glad to see your off at last , happy sailing
How long did that take? More like three (?) years! Non voyage.
Why to go guys! Off the dock at last and on to adventures! I have to agree you might think about the radar. I added ours before I added AIS. Good luck!
The best of luck guys, The adventure begins. one thing "you will go aground" do not sweat it.
Wow the boat is looking amazing, well done guys, fair winds 😊
