La șase luni de la începutul călătoriei noastre, Conor a fost diagnosticat cu o tumoare masivă a creierului meningiom de 8 cm. Timp de 8 luni, ne-am confruntat cu provocare după provocare, pe măsură ce s-a dezvoltat o infecție care a ucis craniul lui Conor, Noua Zeelandă a intrat în izolare, ceea ce a amânat operația lui Conor pentru a înlocui osul mort al craniului, iar barca noastră a rămas blocată într-un port la câteva ore distanță timp de 5 luni, provocând jumătate din bunurile noastre să fie distruse de mucegai. Datorită faptului că Conor are acum un craniu fals și are 6′”, barca este acum un pericol masiv, cu spațiu suficient pentru cap și am fost forțați să vindem barca. I'm so glad you found something that helps you! My psychologist introduced me to attachment theory, which oddly enough had not heard of despite many years of psychotherapy. Or maybe I was told about it and forgot, but I don't think so. If you want to investigate anything else, I would suggest internal family systems. It's very different than any other psychotherapy method that I'm aware of. It's extremely powerful, but does require a huge amount of work. Best of luck to you. I don't suppose you would be comfortable sharing the name of the therapist on Instagram that you mentioned.
Much love to you and Conor. My wife, travelling a similar path to Conor as I have previously discussed, has been faltering of late. I'm seeing more changes in her personality, more conflicts between logic and chaos. Is her tumour growing again??? We won't find out until March.
