  1. I would take her everywhere. No part of the world unexplored. And a classroom for my kids. Even better. Just have to win that pesky big lottery. Was 623 million last time.

  2. Good Nz morning John. Thanks for the presentation. Just a couple of quick negatives. Firstly, the spa pool thingy not good. If it has a capacity of 5-10k litres….you immediately have a problem with 5-10,000kg weight sloshing around. Even with active stabilisers operating, there's always some movement, which is compounded every time the vessel moves.
Secondly, did I hear correctly you say the power plant is Volvo diesel. There was always a problem with with Volvo diesel as a marinised version. Great in trucks, not in vessels. UNLESS the original problem has been addressed. I DO love the vessel however. Thank you for your upload. All the very best mate from down under. In response to a comment/question you asked, a few months ago, the sailing vessel I referred to is 33metre (108ft) "Tigerlily of Cornwall." I believe it is still on the market. Your viewers/subscribers may be interested. I think, but not 100% sure, it can be located in Spain. Take care.

  3. ✔️😎 nice one John, I will let Dale have this one if his lottery comes in before mine. It's a tad too Med cruiser than a blue water explorer, my own personal thoughts of course. Cheers DougT

  4. Beautiful boat. As I live in New Zealand, I would love to tour the rest of the3 Pacific which includes a life time's destinations. Did we miss a cabin? We saw the master, 2 twins and the VIP. That makes 8 guests. Either way, I love her.

  5. If this were my explorer yacht, I would go the Arctic, Antarctic, the far east, the Med, and everywhere else. However, I would need a 2000 count powered humidor and some serious indoor air scrubbers. I am however, not a qualified buyer.

  6. John, I've always thought a "T" style layout for navigation in the wheelhouse was much smarter than having a long line of controls and screens. With a "T" style layout you can have your screens in front of you and your most important controls at fingertips reach.

  7. not a fan of the color blue they chose for the outdoor cushions on all the furniture. really harsh on the eyes. would like to see more of their work but sadly the website for expeditionyachts is extraordinarily rudimentary .

  8. Wow the only 2 things I would have done differently are the pilot house windows I would have wanted negative windows. And not had a classroom but I could use it as a office

  9. I’ve more time behind than before me, and I always worry about technology failures. What happens when steerage-by-wire fails? Is there a place to manually control the rudder?

  10. Nicely done! I really enjoyed your video!
I'm actually looking for an explorer ship i can use to travel to the antarctic sea with 3 friends. 2 biologists and a photographer.
Sooo I need something robust and fast, so we can search for whales and also something with enough space to put a little laboratory in.
A more functional and less luxurious ship. But dang is it hard to find something!

  11. I don't know why anyone would choose a non-explorer super yacht when something like this offers all the same luxury as well as the capability to go anywhere
