Nu știu care sunt regulile cu privire la asta, dar data viitoare când vor aduce o barcă pentru demonstrație, vom vedea dacă există o modalitate de a o scoate la vânzare pentru o perioadă de prima dată, doar în cazul în care există cineva acolo dispus să-l readucă la viață. În barca NOASTRA, preiau spectacolul pentru săptămâna, mă îndepărtez de pereții etanși și mă concentrez pe introducerea vopselei de santină în câteva dintre zonele noastre ascunse. În capul principal imbrac zona din spatele dușului nostru, unde aparatul nostru de apă va sta în partea de sus, iar rezervorul de stocare va sta sub tejghea. În carca noastră pentru oaspeți mă duc să lucrez în zona santinei, șlefuind-o și pregătind-o pentru vopsit. Aceasta este una dintre zonele noastre „mai greu de accesat în toate colțurile”, așa că pot vedea cu siguranță de ce Matt mi-a dat slujba. Chiar înainte de vopsire am decis să trecem la un strat de barieră – pe care am primit două straturi! – dar acum trebuie să așteptăm 5 zile pentru ca asta să se vindece înainte de a merge din nou înainte.

I wonder if, for 'painted' surfaces, fairing/sanding/repeat worth the time/money/sweet? Did anyone gave gelcoat/polishing a try instead ? Gelcoat is thick, self leveling, and can leave a mirror finish.

You both have chosen the harder path, but you only have to do it once and you'll have years to enjoy it. Well done! The day will come when you're opening her sails and all of the sanding is behind you.

I have not seen you attack the ceiling yet. What is the plan for that? Vinyl lining or smooth like the walls? Second question, I think the vinyl linings would reduce the echo sounds and make it quieter. Is there a concern with all the hard surfaces of the hull without vinyl liners that is will be loud?

YES , it is an ENORMOUS amount of WORK , sanding , fairing , painting the Interior..MUCH harder than the outside BUT you won't regret it…easy to clean & maintain & LOOKS as good the day we launched her 23 years ago..keep going , you'll be just fine…cheers
