  1. As the saying goes; "It is what it is"! Be glad you have not encountered the effects which the earth quake regions of the World are experiencing!!!

  2. Money invested is far better than Money saved. When you invest your money it works for you and help you to bring more money back to you

  3. Money invested is far better than Money saved. When you invest your money it works for you and help you to bring more money back to you…😊

  4. I'm a Buckeyes fan in Northern mich. I am a marine mechanic. I own my own shop and have another 4 or 5 weeks before I open for the season. Are you still on the hard doing boatwork? I would love a working vacation. If there is a hotel nearby and you can tell what tools to bring I may be in for lending a hand. Never hurts to throw it out there, worst you can say is "we're all good", I get it that this is the internet.

  5. Always like your videos guys 🙂 Thanks.
Watching from Australia and thinking of trading our monohull for a cat but as you guys found prices are sky high. Kind of identify with you guys with an (even bigger) age gap and a 6 yo son.

Do those creaking noises in heavy seas which I guess are from the hulls racking independently worry you in light of bulkhead problems on other cats like Lagoons? Can you actually see any movement? Presumably all cats do this to some extent.

  6. So glad I discovered you guys recently. I look forward to your adventures every week. (And that great intro song- love it!)
Cheers from a 🇨🇦 currently in 🇧🇸 on our catamaran.

  7. Yay!! Hope you had a great time with family and friends and were able to get all the repairs/improvements done during your time stateside. Cheers! 🍻

  8. What a great journey and well documented. Some cruisers relish jumping into 5000' deep water, you guys go for 20'. Sounds like you got some bridgedeck wave slap but only in very heavy confused seas, some catamarans went with low bridgedeck heights and slap like mad.
It was great to see the route you charted showed you entering Charleston several miles out to sea to avoid the awash breakwater. Several yrs ago an inexperienced sailor sailing south from the north of Charleston on ICW missed an ICW turnoff and ended out in the Atlantic . He and 2 passengers elected to sail south at night offshore to Charleston without charts and all perished after hitting the breakwater.
Good luck with the renovations at Cooper River Marina, I'm sure you are already underway with the repairs. If you are considering a hardtop check out DIY Ytuber Jessica and Ryan 1+yrs ago, Sailing Spoondrifter of 3 mths ago and blogger This Rat Sailed from 4 yrs ago.

  9. A long while back you said that you didn't feel like "sailors" because of cruising lifestyle … I said you're selling yourself short because once a sailor, always a sailor … and you proved me correct … Good Times, Cheers

  10. I get my boat out of storage Friday finish up last of the season last yrs chores getting in the water soon I hope. First lake st.clair then out to lake erie and up n down Detroit river

  11. CONGRATS to the entire crew – LOVED the before & after pics! Reminds me of winter trips to visit
family in Florida in reverse fashion…..left Northern Virginia in winter coats & met at the airport by
our family in warm weather attire! Loved the video & look forward to the time spent on land! See
you next time. -Hugs to the crew! Wanda 🤗

  12. Good job guys, some of that wave slap sounded pretty loud, lucky these "old" Cats can take a beating and come through with flying colors. well done.

  13. Good job !!! You guys did great!!! The boat was awesome, sounds like the accommodations were just fine!!! Glad you had a memorable trip!!! Now I can look forward to seeing you do your upgrades . Enjoy!! I really enjoyed this episode !
    Thanks

  14. The boat squeaking when Lauren was talking at 6:00! Omg. is that something you guys can fix or is that normal for a sailboat? I'm sure you just tune it out eventually, but I would struggle for A WHILE with that annoying noise! Lol

  15. Welcome back to the States! Happy to see you guys had a safe passage. Enjoy your time here and good luck with getting your boat to the best condition.
