  1. Thanks for yet another entertaining episode! Must be hard to work long days and to have energy left for your family
I have a question for you: did you seal the trough hole from the outside too? Any chance on salt water between the outside of the flange and the inner seal?

  2. As usual, brilliantly filmed and put together. As one who has recently taken two days to get a few drops of water out of a lawnmower, I am full of adniration. I cannot imagine how you make the time to set up the cameras while working through a trip into the unknown like that.

  3. Your Daughter is such a beautiful baby. And both of you beam with joy…it's a blessing to see. God bless you all!!

  4. I never took my baby near the stove. Never let children in the kitchen. The kitchen was out of bounds. My mother was a nurse and had to treat children with burns, from boiling water or oil. They can get under your feet and trip you up, or leave a toy in the kitchen that trips you up.

  5. Happy Mothers Day Desiree! Jordan, great job! Thank you for bringing us along! I watched after eating breakfast and that meal made me hungry!!! Loved Isabella trying to take a bite of chicken!
Just love everything about the video! You Both have a great family! Take care and be safe!

  6. Another really good video! Boatyards equal work! All the smells go with it! Getting it all done and back in the water is the goal. Cruising and new places to explore!

  7. Thank you family – this is such good viewing – Jordan I am always inspired by your work ethic on the projects – I'll be honest I am usually quite happy when you are up on the dry because I like seeing the projects. You guys dont paint an unrealistic picture – I am over seeing people having such a hard time sailing around the world and needing another meditation retreat – Atticus you guys are just giving so much thank you ……. AND OMG Issa is sooooo cute – next level sweetheart.

  8. Great video…loved the thru hull install, and the baby’s smile, oh my gosh! …and man, 0:02 that meal at the end. (Nice to see the Pirate Waters shirt, too!) 💕😎💕😎💕😎💕😎💕😎💕😎💕

  9. Belzona smells terrible, I’m impressed you managed to cohabitate that engine compartment. It works well though, it’s actually a Caterpillar recommended repair on damaged liner bores. Happy Mother’s Day Desiree!

  10. Isa is so photogenic and so pretty with her gorgeous blue eyes. You guys are such great parents, it really comes through on the videos 😁 I love how you keep Oso in the picture too. He's so cute and Isa and he will become great pals I'm sure. There's just something so wonderful about babies and dogs!
Great job in the boat yard too……seems like you are working really hard Jordan 🤗💞

  11. Issa eating the chicken leg was adorable. You guys are #1 on my play list, informative with the best editing I have found. Thank you so much for sharing.

  12. Not sure if the quality of my video is poor, or if you actually purposely blurred out the part where the drill pops up and down a few times through the hull 😅

  13. Take the shaft to a machinist and ask if he can weld over the corroded grooves then machine the shaft back to round. Most boat shafts aren't pushed to anywhere near failure. Usually less than 30%, even at full throttle with the propeller tearing itself to shreds on rocks. They are tough!

The shaft grooves appear to be corrosion caused by the slow washing away of grease from a bad seal. This underscore the preventative maintenance need to disassemble, clean, inspect, re-grease and possibly re-seal all through-hulls and mechanicals on the boat on a regular basis, if for no other than doing so protects the metal from corrosion with a new seal and fresh coat of grease.

I'm likely on my last truck in life, and I've been doing preventative maintenance on it since it had 18,000 miles. It certainly has dings and wear, but all mechanicals are working like new. In 2024, I'll be rebuilding the engine!

It's definitely been worth my time keeping it running in tip-top shape. 🙂
