1. Sitting on a nice boat just outside Monaco and a yacht just went past us with a Red Ferrari F-40 on the deck and a blue gorilla-I think on the stern!!

    I don't really have an interest in yachts more than that it is spectacular and mesmerising to see something that big belonging to a (in most cases) billionaire. Keep the good work up, looking forward to seeing your content creation evolve.

16. As an everyday guy I cannot imagine the cost of a large yacht purchase and the required maintenance. Same for someone with a private jet. Time to play the lottery again and dream a little.

20. *WARNING* SUPER YACHTS- it is self-evident that this type of extreme, wasteful and obscene wealth, in the face of not only global biosphere collapse, but also needless extreme human suffering from this type of extreme exploitation of our natutal resources, related to production and operation of these vessels is unforgiveable. Mark my words, there will be a reckoning, in this life or the next. I do not subscribe to any formal religion. I am a human of science, reasonableness, and common sense, I warn ANYONE who willfully promotes this excessive exploitation of the natural world of the obvious moral hazards. We must all account for our actions sooner or later.

26. That first yacht was pretty. I'm glad the tall ship didn't get damaged too badly. It would REALLY be a shame to lose a ship like that. I've always loved those old ships.

    I'm not a fan of Bezos, but that is one beautiful sailing vessel.

30. Can you speak to how to manage the Crew on one of these mega yachts? Where do they live when not sailing? How are they paid? Who cooks for all these people? How do the owners find privacy? Can't you be kidnapped from a yacht? Pls give us insight.

I have to say as a Kiwi it is slightly frustrating that Bezos called his yacht Koru, yet at the same time he has absolutely nothing to do with the language, culture or country that it has originated from and likely will never visit either. I feel naming it after something from the Amazon would be more fitting given the source of his income. Non the less it is an engineering marvel to behold even though the Damen support yacht is orders of magnitude more beautiful and practical, I hope he spends many a month enjoying her in far flung destinations unloading his wealth on to the locals and their families
