The ease of installation and availability to be seen on multiple devises is the key in actual use 👍
Thanks for sharing the information about the Orca Pilot. The technology looks great and is a natural transition from the computer sailing apps to the chart plotter. Usually I use OpenCPN or Navionics to plan a route and then either Predict Wind or Windy to keep track of the weather on my home computer. Once sailing, the boats I charter typically have Raymarine or B&G, I find I have to reenter the route. Having everything integrated so that it leverages current devices like a phone is fantastic! Look forward to hearing more about the sailing specific functions and wondering if it has features similar to B&G Sail Steer. Also the price point is a lot better so might pull in sailors thinking of going with a home made Raspberry Pi network to save cost. What about the base maps? Do you have to buy the vector charts for each region you sail in? Again cool tech and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the review. Good camera and shots. A little hazy. Are you shooting through something that protects the video camera from moisture? If so, it's perfectly understandable.
