În acest videoclip mi-am modernizat complet iahtul cu motor Hatteras 50 din 1968, pe care l-am cumpărat după ce uraganul Ian a răsturnat-o în Doc uscat. Barca acum rămâne fără energie solară! I Estimate the total cost of the setup to be around $5,000. That Includes everything that I had to buy from start to finish.
Check out Redodo Lithium Batteries! Discount Code: GUS https://www.redodopower.com/?ref=kpt00fas
Man, those lithium batteries seem to burn up ALOT though. You have achieved true redneck status with those safety shoes 😉 I get allot of crap for working barefoot… not being a hater..
Good job buddy ! Beautiful boat with a smart guy fixing it !
Those Miami girls are only good for a couple things ✌ made me laugh
any chance does anyone know of a florida company that does this type of install, 5 grand in parts id say another 3 to 5 grand for install would be a fair amount to charge.. id like to buy an already done sailboat next year for about 60 to 70 grand or pay out the 10 grand for complete install not everyone has the ability to do this work , but some of us do have a nice bank account to pay out for good quality work.. id also like to know what your travel range with out a fueled generator would be.. knots per mile or hours of travel.. and still be able to kook dinner..lol this is great content as a diy project.. fair winds and fallowing seas..
Man all this info was just.. inavualble! All fun and games aside, a live-aboard most definitely needs an off-grid system like this and you did a pretty damn good job explaining it to us. Thanks a lot, man!
Good job
SUBSCRIBED! Good stuff man.
Just started watching your channel today., Great channel and videos…. Just curious, are you an electrician? Because you know an awful lot about setting up the Electrical systems The inverters And the battery banks. Or are you self taught? Great boat!
Thank you for your video. I can't imagine doing what you do. So many skills and I say to you EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE.
SURE DO WISH U WERE STILL ON U-TUBE! MISS SEEING WATS GOING ON WITH U & THE HATTERAS!
WOW you must of itched awful bad I just ran across you channel you look like you do some nice work keep it up I just subbed to your channel
I'm am so confused about that wiring and what you are saying wow you are a very smart young man
A 1968 hat running oh my goodness
Is it true the happiest days of a boat owner is when you buy it…and the day you sell it?
I spend many hours in the bilge of my Hatteras. I would suggest another project. A CRASH PUMP
A CRSH PUMP is a bilge pump that runs off your ENGINE WATER PUMP IMPELLER and will pump hundreds of gallons a minute while not harming your engines. All you do is add a T to your raw water intake before your water pump, attach a few valves and a long hose and if you have a big water intrusion you flip the lever and instead of pulling from the sea, you pull water directly from your bilge. Simple to set up witha few valves and T-s and wil save your boat if you blow a waterline, hit a log or other major damage that lets in a lot of water.
Kick Ass!🤘🏻🍻
I am very impressed with your work ethic. And impressed with your knowledge across many disciplines. You Hatteras is worth much more than you paid what ever you paid. Did you gain your abilities tinkering about and or have a degree? After watching a couple of you episodes I subscribed. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Drive on brother you are doing very well in life. 👏
Very good solar build and power management!
