  1. YOU ARE JUST AMAZING….. BRAVO SWEET RUCA….. ✌❤….. PEACE & LOVE….. ALL THE BEST …. FAIR WINDS AND MY K8ND REGARDS….. 🌷🍾🥂 CHEERS….. 🥂

  2. Another great episode aaaaand, rounding of Cape Horn. 🎉 🎉 🎉 Not [seemingly] as exciting as the rounding on Sweet Ruca, yet the fast was seen due to the character of a large performance catamaran vs monohull. Happy the crew made it in good humor and safely.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🗻❄️🌨️🌞✨

  3. As ever an excellent film. I did feel it was somewhat like AI sailing! Not the threat of jeopardy. I recall decades ago sailing a cat and when one hull lifted out of the water I was somewhat alarmed – but then that was an 8 metre dinghy!
    Safe sailing.

  4. A sure sign you’re on a British boat – hot water bottle in a cosy 😊 And, of course, an electric kettle for the frequent “brews”. Artemis looks very well sorted, and thoroughly workmanlike, those Cornish builders being no strangers to proper seagoing designs.

Tell Curtis the footage was worth the cold and wet he had to endure to get it!

  5. Did not realize how close to the water a cat. can get.

Such a beautiful couple you all met. It looked like your friend is disabled. How difficult is it for just the two of them to actually sail. I am disabled after five spinal surgeries mostly from old age. Don’t think I’m as brave.
Takes beautiful people to meet beautiful people. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🕉☯️

  6. This was such a special video for me !!! I’m Hannah’s mom and this made me cry tears of joy and I felt my heart swell with pride and joy to see my precious daughter sail around “the horn” in the Artemis !! Thank you for doing such a masterful job of documenting this epic journey ❤ I’ve been hearing the stories about their sailing adventures but this was the very first time I was able to actually see what it’s like 🎉 Fantastic!!

  7. Great to see Tom and Hannah achieve this. It's also fantastic to actually see one of our boats make this epic trip. Very impressed to hear of Artemis' speed to wind speed and angle as she has no main sail. Thanks for the video.

  8. Congratulations to all for rounding the Cape – twice now for the Sweet Ruca Crew. I enjoy vicariously adventuring along with such an accomplished group of sailors. The following is in no way meant to take away from the journey; just a curious observation… something lost in translation. Cape Horn or Kap Hoorn got its name from a Dutch/German explorer; naming it after his home town in the Netherlands “Hoorn” which is Horn in English same meaning. However, Horn in Spanish is Cuerno – Cabo de Cuerno would be correct. Hornos is Spanish for ovens. Curiously I see the Chileans even sign post as Hornos – of course Chile has a right to call it whatever they want; but, the words’ meanings are completely different than the original European name of Hoorn. Things that make you go Hmmm. Adventure on and happy sailing!

  9. Aloha from Hawaii islands. What a beautiful place sailing . See you happy sailors that's very nice .Amazing cool episode. Fear winds the best of luck for you guys.

  10. Awesome video it was great you were able to crew on Artemis as I sure it was a great help with great new friends. You videoing documenting the sail was amazing as were your previous video's. Until next video stay safe

  11. I remember seeing a bit about this boat back when it was being built. So cool to see Tom so far out there proving his vision. Thanks so much for sharing this!
