1. I see them perhaps nerfing teleports after sailing is released just to make sailing make more sense.

2. Sailing looks boring af and I don't want to spend 200 hours standing on a ship to max it. Nautical stuff and pirates just doesn't do it for me and I don't want anything to do it it.

5. Still think it should be a feature, not a skill. Navigation would be better, that could be used for more teleports around the land, or a fast travel system like the carts in Brimhaven and Shilo Village.

7. i thought all 3 were cuck skills tbh i thought a skill like invention like in rs3 would of been good just to much of a power jump tho. i just hope with sailing you can get a good amount of construction xp as it looks like you can make alot of stuff like a poh

9. Everything they have shown about sailing looks awesome as hell imo. And the new skill will open up a race to see who is gonna take number one on the hs. Which is neat imo.

11. Yup osrs players need to be forced to have fun.
    When you accomplish something you feel rewarded, that's Runescape, but people don't understand this, they vote on things that make the already easy game even easier, like having a toolbelt instead of using tools in your inventory.
    You're just taking out the complexity in a already extremely uncomplex game, these people are the biggest self-harming problem factor in playerbases, lazy fat asses who aren't capable of understanding much.
    If I could get tools to single click [do all and repeat] I would quit.

12. i think it will just be nice to have an avenue to new content instead of just high level raids for end game players. this will be nice for newer or mid level players

14. Pvpers, even the pvp content creators are pretty toxic, whining about pvp updates. Bounty hunter v3 comes out, they start boosting (for content), rushing at the spawn, renaming their account Exit arena so ppl accidentally click them and skull up and can't leave the arena and die, rag with mage on an alt and then spec out the target. Or the best thing i saw spec and then leave the arena, tp back in and dump spec again. So sailing really doesn't need a pvp element, the pvp community will fuck it up as soon as they can.

17. The idea itself is fine but every potato pc is going to melt + this skill is going to be boring and dead very fast if you need to repeat the same thing's over and over again. New skill is always a nice add on the game but the point is to make the game less dead in long term.

20. The whole idea of Sailing getting more difficult as you progress is completely ass backwards for oldschool. Just look at woodcutting… normal trees you get 1 log per tree, oaks you get multiple logs per tree, this increases until you get to redwoods at lvl 90 at which point you can literally click once, go take a shit, come back and you're still chopping wood.

25. let me guess, the optimal team size will be 3 to 4, which conveniently coincides with group ironmen content creators. 'we arent going to cater towards group ironmen guys'. pre-emptively roll out nex, brings out toa, every new content just so happens to be for group ironmen. i guess it makes sense after alfie made his 17th hardcore ironman and faux sent a little dm in the NDA discord. let's delay league 17 so that content creator X can milk 10k off of his disabled viewerbase

34. I think you're absolutely right about quick travel. Sailing will be fun once, but then everyone's going to want a quick travel then the community will cry about the useless sailing skill.

46. I swear osrs streamers are allergic to anything that is not a grind for 10h a day doing the same basic shit. The concept of sailing has been around before osrs even existed. Rs3 tried to compensate with player owned ports. it's nothing more that numbers management.
