…LOOKIN' GOOD, BETTER TO FIND A PROBLEM SOONER THAN LATER..LOL.. KEEP SAFE AND WELL…
Did Magnus drag that hat behind ute from Perth or did it survive the shoot out at OK coral.
Hi Wendy The last Peanut you had is far better than the one you have now , I can see that you will be forever fixing the flotation collars as you have done , Why did you get rid of Peanut 4 ???. Cheers
love your videos, always have since England narrow boat. Your audio could use some major improvement. Do you even listen to it ? Sorry, we stil love you both, but the backrgroud sound is so annoying. Following seas and fair winds…… Loni and Al
We got his and hers cars now? Big upcoming sewing projects coming soon?
Glad to see you’re getting your boat yoga in.
On the way to Indo stop off at BI and go fishing with the Tiwi’s, there are some really interesting beaches to explore.
What am I saying you’re probably already well on your way.
I really don't want to be listed as a complainer. But… I see a whole lot more joy on both of your faces when you are sampling a beer, describing how it tastes and giving it a rating. Big smiles. When you are talking about another engine problem, then their is no joy. So, I like the videos that you do at pubs, much, much better than I do the engine repair videos. The engine repair videos have 4 or 5 times the drama as the beer videos do. I do watch both. But, I rate the beer tasting videos a 9 1/2 and the engine repair videos as a 3, at best. Maybe it's just me, but I think that you do agree with me that beer is more fun than a dead engine. Larry
Five hundred dollars for a scruffy lump of plastic with a tiny amount of metal in it that shouldn't reasonably cost more than fifty bucks at most to manufacture and distribute is absolutely ridiculous!!
Given the cut they probably take by way of levies from outrageous profits it is little wonder that the current pack of thieves with the audacity to call themselves a government are boasting about a budget surplus despite squandering borrowed money like a mob of cattle with the scours.
Talk about indirect flaming taxation.
By the way Magnus the hat and beard remind me of some of the more colorfully entertaining characters I have encountered over decades in the bush.
My favorite lid hasn't weathered much if any better to the extent that a townie mate actually asked me to let him have it for a decoration!! Not flaming likely…
Magnus. Weird question about beard care. How do you maintain it when away from lots of fresh water. My skin under my beard needs a fresh water rinse twice a day or it gets irritated(seems a waste of hard to get water). Love my beard but usually go short when I’m out of civilization for awhile. Would love to keep it always. Any tips? And yes this is a cringy question! Always look forward to your vids guys. Thanks
Better the engine shits itself in the pen than out in the ocean in a 6 knot tide race or sum such hey? Cheers.
Thanks for another great episode guy's! Enjoy!
Maybe you should call the plastic dinghy the Tupperware tub?
That hat is a real thing of beauty. Just needs some corks hanging down.
In my head, when you showed the time lapse of them doing the sails, I heard the Benny Hill theme tune. 😂
Nice watching your assembly skills, grease? I am more of a molybdenum disulfide guy myself……LOL.
With a tear that large a patch internally then externally may have been an idea. Looking forward to your Indonesian travels
That head bolt, lots of questions?????? Worries.
Another great video! So relaxing to sit with my morning tea and watch W&M as they go about their sailing adventures. Can’t wait for the Indonesian episodes!
your engine new sec hand one is a Iseki from Japan bage as a perkins ,cat because cat o/n perkins and sold by Volvo ign switch amd starter from napper(ashdown ) how do i no worked from all light to long
Just nailed it not to have PVC Tubes. My 8 year old super abused Walker Bay is Hypalon, its been on the rocks from a gale 5 years ago, has scars all over the tubes and the plastic hull and no tube leaks. Cheers "Keep em coming" always good viewing.
Hi Wendy and Magnus, I was taken by your NT cruise Aboriginal art painting discoveries. So much, so that I plan to follow you on your next adventures. You're wise to order a new freshwater pump, I had to replace mine twice,
Question re your motor, it looks like a Perkins model 404 2.2 liters about 54 hp engine, possibly the same as mine? If so, I need a starter motor problem is an ID of which one and where to order it. If you could, please share your supplier and starter model/part number. You're wise to order a new freshwater pump, I had to replace mine twice,
Just in case, sharing my experiences regarding your gearbox, it seems from your video I had the same gearbox with the split case made in Germany. Mine failed twice and was replaced both times. I discovered thoughts gearboxes fail because they are only for light use in the leisure boating market, not engineered not for extensive day-on-day motoring. The third gearbox I installed is a TMC 260 Twin disk gearbox, this was a decade ago, with no problems as they are rugged and made for workboats. This model is still manufactured today. Best of luck SV Skoiern IV
I'm thinking that an ignition switch plus a seperate starter button would be simpler and more reliable.
FFS. Recording with the engine running in the background is awful😮
Could we have a rerun from 1:00 to 4:30 without the background noise? Same goes for 17:20 to 20: 40
That was an awesome episode, thanks so much!
Boats, repairs, things we learn when components fail. How did the sourdough bread taste? What sort of difference you anticipate from changing the sail batten design?
I'm sure you already said but where are you heading this trip?
Good job
Interesting video Wendy and Magnus. About half or more of this has a lot of rattling noise in the background and couldn't enjoy that part. Thanks much and look forward to your next.❤
What happens if you put the activated mix in the freezer between coats. Works with epoxy when I need to apply multiple coats. Just a thought. Cheers.
Hi Magnus and Wendy – been following you since your beer review adventures on thin waterways.😉 Just had a few weeks catching up on your last couple of years adventures – wow – I would like to say you don’t let the grass grow under your feet – well it certainly did but your feet weren’t there.🤣
An excellent explanation of the ears on the SR3D Magnus!
Can't wait for you to try them out :O)
Hi,I have just only found you both on YouTube and I love it
Paul from Liverpool England 😊
Sailing the Nutshell is hard work!
