30. I've been saying it for years. Wouldn't it be cool to have a net that opened up in such a way that you could end up with your fishing line through the center of it? You could then throw the net into the water where the fishing line would guide it straight to and around the fish. When the fish was surrounded by the net you would pull on a rope that was attached to the net and it would close the back end of the net. At that point you have a net that traps the fish and a nice strong rope in your hand. The fish loses most of its ability to swim as well. Never lose a fish again. In my experience of watching these videos most of the fish are lost as people try to land them on the boat. This invention addresses that weak point while also allowing a person to avoid gymnastics on the back of the boat.
