Hi guys; very entertaining and informative. I taught sailing for many years and the one thing that seemed to really stump people was learning to tie the basic knots and where / when to use them. you did a really good job demonstrating which knots to use where.

We tied a stainless steel snap hook to the end of the dinghy painter so we don't have to worry about someone making a mistake with a knot. Pass the snap hook through the cleat and clip it to the painter and your dinghy is secure.

Good demo, new to me was your version of tying the fenders, but I do disagree with your universal praise of the Bowline, sure its great, but if its in the water, you need a water bowline version, well similar but the loop is a clove hitch.
