  1. Well Ash u are looking particularly beautiful these days. You're vivacious face lights up and beautiful blue eyes. Even your hair looks great. Then the kids. Just gorgeous.
All 4 of u make a gorgeous looking family.
But what makes u particularly attractive is your attitude and so many things. Really admirable people. Thank you for letting us fall in love with you as a family. Not just where and how u travel.

  2. On another note. Currently I'm sitting on the beach in Australia having just gone to a little shopping centre nearby. I'm in 2 minds about the Brazilian clothing our young are embracing now as the ' norm'
On one hand I think it's interesting to see that all shapes and sizes are wearing g -strings and unashamedly wearing very little. On the other hand I find it a little disconcerting to see so many young girls walking around shopping centres barely wearing bottom halves let alone top half's. Diesnt leave ANYTHING to the imagination. There's nothing more lovely than a little modesty I feel. Not letting it all hang out. I'm not sure if I am really excited about my grand daughters insisting they wear nothing because the other girls are. Not that they're that age yet.
I don't think going nude is the answer to combat body shaming. I mean why not just take it all off if that's the case. Men included?
It's not about shame it's about having some dignity.
I find it sad. The whole world has gone mad.
Everything's hanging out now. Not just bodies. I mean be what u wanna be. Do what u wanna do. Say what u wanna say. Except when social media doesn't agree right? Or political correctness.
I say leave the brazilians to have their Mardi gras and g strings. I'm not sure embracing principles of other cultures is necessarily the answer. Our culture is really going down the gurgler

  3. 5:17 I have 4-6 of the same bottles from our trip to Quebec. Nothing better than pure maple syrup. My kids, 30 and 36, like the dark while my wife and I prefer the lite.

    11:29 that's the ticket.

    13:24 Spot on.

14:40 North America is soooo puritanical. I'm 6' 2" and weigh in at 140 lbs.

  4. Great thanks ~ Loved it. I usually watch from my TV. Phone is too small lol. Kids are growing super sweet great job. Nice making it to Brazil I said a prayer for you all wow. Looking forward to you landing in Caribbean !!!

  5. What are you talking about? America is fat!!! And if fat people are ashamed of themselves, they should be, because they don't take care of their health! Besides fat is disgusting. Skinny people live longer lives, so chose wisely!

  6. Yes, you have almost completed your circumnavigation. I am as excited as you are as I have been following you guys since you started. I live in Seattle. I'll be waiting at the finish line. Peace

  7. You ended up in one of the worst places in Brazil. An ecological station controlled by an NGO that doesn't take care of nature, it serves to divert money to government supporters. It's a paradise, yes, but it's tainted by parasites

  8. The world is too complex for anybody to adequately capture by a series of images. America? A huge country of. Burgers, The American Dream, Choppers, Elvis, Cowboys. and Bad Beer for most of the rest of the world. A very Superficial people as you plainly point out. We suck!

  9. Between that Mad Max dune buggy thing and the scarcity of fresh water there i sort of expected to see signs for Bartertown or at least a Thunderdome in the background

  10. About an aluminum cat. 30 years ago, I was in Playboy boatyard in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and saw an 85 foot long Whitbread round the world sailboat deep fin keel, ect. As I walked closer, my stomach started turning as it had swiss cheese electrolisis below the waterline. A multi millionaire was un able to prevent! I said, if I ever owned an aluminum boat, I would do to it what I did to the wooden boat I bought for my brother. Only needing 6 to 8 alternating layers of woven fiberglass and chopped strand matt. to about a foot above the waterline. instead of neumatic driven stapples at two layers, second still wet and stainless screws at half the layers, I would drill 1/8 inch holes and dip the stainless pop rivets in 3M 5200 all over for physical attachment and not to have a fiberglass hull separate from a wooden or aluminum hull. metal not setting in the battery electrolite salt ocean was no problem. fiberglass and resin inside the hull, fewer layers would be nice, just chopped matt for sealing, woven does not seal well enough. A performance cat, ie Jupiter, Mumby 48 is for sailing in little wind, not for the scary high winds for cruisers.

  11. Ashley, the greatest thing you could do to change that culture, is to have more children and raise them! P.S. you have that body type you talk about. As far as body shaming goes, I've heard some of those private parties in dubai don't have the least of body shaming :O not that you should go there, but just different cultures. On your next bout, if you head over to Madeira and visit Azores too you can get a taste of Portugal as well and see how closely the cultures resemble each other. Ben, you should tell us history on the countries you enter. It is rather interesing that Portuguese colonies stayed united and formed Brazil, whereas the Spanish colonies collapsed into other countries. I'm sure you will love Cartegna, San Juan PR, Havana, and Curacao (Dutch). But other unfilmed ones include Saba, St Barts (has one of three shell beaches and is White majority), St. Eustatius (very important in supplying the American Revolution with arms), Terre-de-Haut (another rare White majority community in French Caribbean), Plymouth Monserrat (volcano exploded onto the city, you can visit the ruins), BVI (the Baths beach), French islands have better food, British islands are good as well. Jamaica is probably the closest to 'The Caribbean Hawaii'. But Dominica punches hard in the nature department with Geysers and other volcanic activity. St Lucia is argued frequently as 'the single most beautiful island'. Other than Bermuda, Cayman Islands probably has the best food scene overall. The Yucatan is the last great spot outside America in the Caribbean, Be sure to look up XCaret park next to Playa Del Carmen, across from Cozumel. XCaret has natural Mexican caves on natural bays and a zoo/amusement/nature park right by the ocean. It was one of my favorite vacations. In America, check out Galveston and take a trip to Houston, then go to South Padre Island and enjoy some real American beach culture. Corpus Christi is another great Texas seaside city. Miami Beach Florida is a must. Check out places like Key West, Everglades National Park, Tampa (English speaking city), and Cape Coral (the most canaled city in the world). Gulf Shores Alabama will show you Alabama life, Biloxi Mississippi will show you Mississippi life, Or maybe do an American tour all the way up to Newfoundland. You could hit Jacksonville, to Savannah GA, Charleston SC, Myrtle Beach SC, Wilmington NC, Norfolk VA (visit historic Richmond VA), Baltimore Harbor MD (Visit DC National Mall), Philadelphia PA, NYC NY, Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, Boston MA, Portsmouth NH, Portland ME, Bar Harbor ME (lighthouses), to St Johns in the Bay of Fundy, explore the bay then over to Halifax, then round over to Quebec, then sail to Toronto, visit Niagara Falls, and back into America continue past Detroit to Mackinac Island MI, Traverse City MI, then to Chicago IL, Wisconsin Dells is out of the way, but is the water park capital of the world 😉 Then head down the Mississippi to Peoria IL, then to St Louis MO (Once Paris of the West), Memphis TN, Baton Rouge LA, then you finally hit New Orleans and end back into the Caribbean (Gulf of Mexico)!

  12. Love the commentary at the end about body sizes. It's so great to see gen z being so much more unapologetic about their bodies in Canada now too. Such a change from times before. The world is much more beautiful when diversity and joy replace perfection and control <3

  13. I appreciate a lot of things about your videos. One of the simple things is your use of straightforward, descriptive video titles. It demonstrates that you have confidence in your content.

  14. It seems that in the US women are obsessed with the way they look and plastic surgery has become a huge part of that. Life's too short to be hung up on looks. Enjoy it and each other for what you are

  15. Glad that you guys visit a small piece of Brazil… Unfortunately you changed direction but for sure you would have had an amazing experience with my people… We love foreigners, friendly people all over.. Very good food and cheap… Feel sorry that Fernando de Noronha stab the tourists with they huge prices.. Such shame and I feel so sad with that! I am planning to sail on Center America "Caribbean "with my family and you guys are ower references for life… Jesus bless you all and may God sorround angels around your boat everewhere you go. Regards to all
Pablo De Oliveira & family.. ❤❤❤❤

  16. The exposure at beaches/pools seems to be the norm everywhere now. Although you never would shame anyone, your lifestyle certainly opposes choosing to be unhealthy/obese, so why promote it?

  17. But why, why don’t you go home and bring up your children there, is it worth it ?
Get your self HME and live a normal life
