  1. when everything is a game changer nothing is a game changer. hyperbole overused loses its impact. cant help but make the observation….what a total prick to come on the flybridge and talk on his mobile next to you when you are filming. what an ass.

the integration of the swim platform is very good. could be a tad larger. but they really have a lot of work to to on the hulls and range. i thing aquila is getting near about 3000 miles on their 70 at displacement speeds. the overal layout can stand to be evolved. ill be looking forward to see what they have done with these models in a few years

  2. Fantastic looking, space and a great platform. But from then on it's all design over everything. Who wants to pilot a boat on the flybridge when none of your family or friends can sit with you? And with a bbq rammed against the back of your head? If its a chilly Mediterranean evening you could always stand in the middle of the main interior space with all the lights off so you've got some night vision? Why does expensive italian loose deck furniture look so flimsy and crappy. You dont even have place anywhere to rest a drink if your sat forward or aft outside.

I'm sure people with far more money than me will buy this designer dock jewellery for some reason.

Is it just me that doesn't get it??

  3. Great review – really well worth a watch. For me, cats are always a disappointment on the main deck internal space and this one is no exception. It looks cluttered and lacks the finesse and/or elegance or the proportions of a monohulls internal space. Sure the outside spaces are big and plentiful but I think the interior is compromised, and to make the only helm station singularly unsociable seems quite a big design flaw. Also on the fly deck, it's obviously massive yet the centre is allocated to the wet bar and the dining table is pushed off to one side almost as an afterthought. It's a good looking boat but I don't think the interior design or layout is there yet.

  4. I can respect the clarity and commitment to a design point of view. It isn't to my taste but a lot of boats aren't. You missed to point that the day head door is transparent, so not a lot of privacy there – but we'll assume that was an Ooops. Still, it doesn't speak well of the Quality Control – you really need to make sure you have the right kinds of doors. The crew cabins seemed somewhat miserly – but a lot of cats do also.
