  1. Love your perspective. Really gives a clear picture of your daily lives. The good the bad and the ugly. One thing I don't get is how do you get 3000 miles away from shore on your way from Fernando de Noronha to the Caribbean… there's simply not enough Ocean there. Even the coast of Africa is not as far.

  2. I love watching your family ….. I just wondered how well the kids sleep … what time do they go to bed and if the rocking of the boat helps them sleep longer ?? ❤

  3. Must be an incredible feeling to be 3000 miles away from anything/everything! Ashley describing the stars, dolphins, bioluminescent trails and just the peacefulness would be an awesome time! Your travel and comforts of home are an incredible way to see the world. Maybe someday for me. Will you have a circumnavigation review video when you complete the trip? Fast history of start to end??

  4. better keep a real close eye on the little one i think he thought he was going into the water at the beginning no fear in that one lol what a great life for kids considering the state of the world if i was young just starting a family am thinking this is the life i would work to have as soon as i could

  5. 24 or 48 volt for water maker in new boat. If you are doing a 48v battery bank then get a 48v if 24v battery bank get a 24v. 12 volt is not efficient and 48v is most efficient.

  6. It’s an unspoken,
    and unwritten law.

    “Tonnage rules”!

Keep a good watch around you. They’re not going to turn. They might sound their horn to wake you up.

  7. lemon or lime mixed with water to rinse veggies to keep them fresh. Lemon juice can last a long time in fridge.

  8. Also on new boat make a small closet with a dehumidifier to store anything to keep mold away and the water from it can go right into your water tanks. Also for drinking water have a UV filter at sink with a water spout for drinking.

  9. I've been watching your channel for a long time and never commented. This video was engaging. It was very real. A little fishing, a little family life, a little boat repair, very much the real-world reality of sailing with your family. Right down to the diapers (LOL). Have fun guys.

  10. Loving your fantastic voyages. Incredible with your children especially. And you seem to work as a special team overcoming any problems.
Your narration is especially good too. And the filming , especially at sea takes us viewers with you! (Amazing drone sequences eg in rough weather).
Entering over the bar at Knysna S.Africa timing high water minus one hour during marginal weather is the same as my 18 years as ships pilot here in North Devon over our bar. Our ships were mainly cargo ships (carrying bulk dry cargos and Tankers which ONLY carry liquids such as oil) Enjoyed that episode too.
    Thanks for the adventures! Rog.

  11. Ben; my TV days would be the 60's LOL. Children who are able to explore the World end up so uch more with a rounded education of what is really important.

  12. Your life sailing, is, in my opinion, much more active than land living. One simple fact is that you are constantly moving your home around. More attention is needed on a daily basis. It isn't for everyone but i feel that a life is enrichened with sort of lifestyle. Ttfn

  13. I really enjoy watching your videos, but I must say, I would be stressed out having little ones on the boat. Granted, you have safety nets around the perimeter, but still, just the fear of them going over. Hats off to you both! What a fabulous experience for your family!
