How would you not get PTSD after one shift? Regarding the marble catchment rock, I can tell you that the quarrying processes related to extracting the premium material generate a huge volume of lower grade rock, as well as a lot of broken high grade that is put to use in hundreds of different ways, like fine powder in paint, plastics, a paper, etc. It is extremely unlikely that the rock used in the port and surrounding areas is of high value but helpful to the quarry operation to find a use for it rather than having to pay for it to be taken away.
