Are you afraid of lousing your sea legs? I like Vera's hair you did such a good job on it. Your store has no pockets on the t shirts our i would buy a dozen of them. Good luck on the weekend laminating job you are much braver then i am i think i would be trying it by my self but i am not building a boat now good luck.

If you build this exposed steering station at the stern, the man at the helm may easily be washed into the sea, as already happened before, with fatalities. While building your new boat, consider having a well protected cockpit and not a platform where the helmsman has not even a sitting place. This may look nice for those athlete gorilla heroes in black clothes of the Volvo Ocean Race, but not for a family. Unfortunately many new sailing cruising boats were projected by "designers" but not by sailors and have the rudder wheels a few centimeters from the stern. Very dangerous.
Maybe you could spare a little Epoxy to reattach the sole of your shoes 😂
Joran – Please be careful about the diesel exhaust. It still produces carbon dioxide and your monitor does not detect that. Enough CO2 will kill you the same as CO. If you can get a CO2 detector, that would be good to have in addition to the smoke/CO detector.
