2. You should watch @VetTails and how she explained refitting her aluminum hull, and the corrosion problems she had. She fixed it in the end, but it was really interesting also..

9. Actually , Alu increases it"s strength through ageing.
   I am working in automotive engineering , I am impressed by the way they control tolerancting.
   In automotive , they sacrifice the tolerance on the passenger side to make the fit and finish on the driver side look good.
   Here they rectify the problem by compensating the center , eliminating deviation.

10. Very impressed! It's better than I thought you were getting, but I had no idea you were getting such a kick ass cat!

If made correctly, the cooling time of aluminum welds take longer for the base materials to reconstitute themselves, just because it looks and feels cooler than at the time of welding, doesn't mean that the welder can continue. That fact alone will extend the building time. I won't even guess for construction to be complete.

16. It is fantastic to see the new boat coming along…. whoo hooo onward and upward. So much work done in a short amount of time it will be a full hull in no time at all… I can't wait to see it in its hull form. Put a few of those blades on the back of your new boat for power generation hey Plukky?….

28. Hi Plucky, while the boat it under construction do you have any designs to prevent the damage of a lightning strike? I understand the catamarans are struck more than mono hulls. Are you doubling the underwater epoxy and plastic bags or will you have an engineered solution?

33. wow, last I seen you floating ariund parlay in san blas, old cat a distant memory. Super happy to see an alu build, my favorite material. we built 2 alu cats and several alu patrol boats. I lived on one for 3 years and will be using one as my retirement home

35. I don't understand this contruction design, no crumble zone at all. Cars are not build like this since 1970. Just wait to see one hull being sheered off, or the whole boat being totaled by one container crash. 😟
