10. I cant believe how expensive these courses are now. I did mine back in the early 90s, lots of sailing clubs and ordinary night schools did these for nominal fees back then. In fact they didn't do a specific Day Skipper theory course, however did a Yacht master theory course. I did this back then and recently thought of redoing it all again to refresh the brain. Not at these prices.

Wise move Terry one you have the confidence to do it two you learn safety and everything sailing wise and you will more wiser and confident for the practical course good on yer mate getting this new boat has helped you a lot you don't look so drawn and down so happy sailing days ahead keep it up 😊😊😊

12. good call chosing Ardent – did my DS last year with them and thoroughly enjoyed doing the course. And my view is that it is great value for money. Where else can you get 50 hours of clear and detailed learning for the same money or less – nowhere.
