When welding, according to OSHA, are proper face and eye protection required? So, I am sure you could convince them to let you get an aerial view.
👍👍
Hey Plukky it's coming along nicely mate! What is the delivery date for splashing it at this stage bro?
Insane brother love this shit comment
Hi Lisa, 🙂 Hey Plukky its all lookin good ah, Exciting 🙂
Woohoo-starting to look like a bonified floatation device.
Amazing to see new technologies. Do they cut each piece with laser cutters before welding it together. Or do pieces come from another factory.
Takes measure thrice cut once to a new level. You need to pop to screw fix and get them a speed glass😊
Plucky is going from fish heads to caviar.
Bloody brilliant people…. great progress Pluckky😀
I think that young welder seems to be working very hard and taking pride in his workmanship. If it were me, I'd make sure he feels appreciated for his efforts. My 2¢
More good progress Peter.
Attach a camera to the underside of the overhead crane Peter. There should be a service ladder and gantry at one end of the building that would give you access.
1:32 Thong ??
All I can say about the boat builders crack is, if it increases subscriber counts, especially female subscriber counts, well you gotta do what you gotta do, not really my cuppa tea, each to their won and all that 👍
Loving the build 👍
I don't think Pluckys has been started yet.
He asked them if his boat was going to be the same??
I am always amazed at the clean work that is possible with the aluminum alloy in contrast to shipbuilding steel.
I don't think you would find any yard over here that would allow the customer to being present while their boat is being built. They must have the utmost confidence in their workforce.
Plucky doesn't refer to it as his boat, not sure what is going on.
Great progress! Seriously happy for you, brother!
When you showed your design it didn't look like the keels protected the prop ?? Or whatever that bits called
Good stuff.
Are they wearing (safety) crocs?
Amazing !
Nice to see the ladies back. Boat is coming along swell too! 🙂
It's amazing how fast the boat is coming together.
coming right along
Just remember “Crack kills” 😂
Gotta love the welding techniques. No time for face shield, just turn your head wiggle your hand and hope for the best. Better buy a welding machine so you can re-do the welds that break during passages.
Peter, construction of the boat is moving along nicely. Glad you have pros working on this.
My only criticism is you, as an engineer, know the workers are not following safety protocols. They actually have their Personal Protective Equipment on but are not using it. They are taking unnecessary risk and you as both an engineer and as “the customer” have a responsibility to fix this.
If this was on the ocean and you were captain, you would not accept them being in harms way. Well this may not be the ocean but it is your boat and you are captain. Please encourage better use of the safety equipment.
It’s inspiring. I wanna build my own alu cat now. And I already have a cruising cat. Dam(n) you Plucky. 😂
"Measure once, cut twice" Ha Ha. I think you meant Measure twice cut once Peter !!
Happy new year Mate. coming along cant wait for some aluminum siding!!!!
Plukky your editing skills are making them girls look like fools, put the icon where they point! You have the power!
I love my country. You would not see this type of project proceed at this pace. If you could find the number of people required, who are willing to work.
You should call that faring compound you were getting made "Boat builders crack".
Nice progress for sure, please explain how a lightning strike would be on this ally hull vs a fiberglass hull
big pop can!!
The boat is great!
How about some adventures (outside) the facility?
I really like how we see them weld scrap pieces that are removed later & how these pieces keep every surface aligned through the building as heat & mass is applied. Cool as👍
wot week of build are we in since you dared us for hull formation?
It's a pleasure to watch these guys. Focused, no wasted effort, great teamwork. Part of that may be for the camera, but efficiency like that isn't faked.
Just wondering how this CAT compares to to a TRI hull as far as speed and going upwind?
Grate job so far, hard – working guys , nothing but quality.
Is Brian gonna be a customer?
Nothing wrong under your helmet Pluky.
Check out that portable staging. Now that's safe, NOT.
never mind the builders crack. Check out the construction Crocs!
Hey Plucky,
I'm Matt, long time viewer. Even get around in your tee shirts. 50+ yr old from the home land.
Sorry to point out a negative, but the two lovely girls that have "pop up" every now and then in the last few vids is a very bad look on your channel….
Just my opinion. Love watching the build. Looks bloody awesome. Happy new year, best of luck, and keep punching mate! "Top stuff"
