2. I Installed a soft start module on my air conditioner is my Sundancer. It allows me to run my AC with an inverter generator. You can run a 2000 watt generator all night with a gallon of gas and run the AC.

15. Beautiful water. Will be down to 52 tomorrow here in East Texas. Then later in the week back in the 80s. Will be heading with the RV to meet friends at Huntsville State Park pretty soon.

16. No rope problem…Just do a half hitch loop in the end of the line, pass the loop up the centre and fold it over each end of the cleat. Never let go then.

22. Lithium batteries are notoriously dangerous. I would think especially worse in salty, wet and rough environments such as being on your boat in rough seas. They have been known to very randomly catch fire. This is especially so when and if charging/overcharging as well as any slight internal damage (that you cannot see.)

    I would 1000% think pro-actively. If you must use it, set it up in a way that you can get it OFF your boat in a hurry from a distance in case of a fire e.g., maybe place it on a platform so you can release one end and have it jetison over the side of your vessel if needed. You will not able to get close to it. This is not an uncommon event and it can destroy your nice boat. Be prepared.

    Perhaps I just am a random internet guy- an alarmist who does not know what he is talking about. For what it is worth, I did study Elec. Engineering. 24. Most sailing channels are about documenting their existing life onboard. Your channel seems more like a ‘produced’ effort to ‘create’ a life you think viewers will find interesting, which is plays like an endless loop of beach bars and bikinis. Might be fun for awhile, but it ends up as boring, forced and contrived….a lot like the stupid reality nonsense on tv like Life Below Deck or whatever that show is titled.
