Great work on getting the bulkhead back in place! I never would have thought of hand planing a scarf joint into that bulkhead … I think that i would have went with a lap joint near the center of the bulkhead as you had the companionway passing through to clamp the entire length of the joint (I don't have your patience!!) Great job on it though!! Wow … those were some serious swells the day that you went out sailing!!! That boat in the distance disappeared … before you know it you will be out there with your own boat!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Your work on the scarf joint was impressive! And when you make a mistake you just ‘bite the bullet” and do whatever is needed to get it right. Those were some impressive waves coming into the harbor on your first view of the Atlantic Ocean. Take care and enjoy your time sailing!

It looks great, your work. The most western lighthouse is close to Cach Cais. I visited that place in 1967. (some years ago)

Anyone who says Estonians don't have a sense of humour need to watch this comedy channel – it's a laugh a minute, and unlike English comedy channels, no fake laugh track. I come here for the jokes, plus, on the side, I get inspirational boat repair techniques. Awesome!
