  1. Hey everyone 🙂 Thanks so much for being here and for your comments – we absolutely love reading them all. We're so happy that this refit is slowly turning a corner!!

Thanks as well for the nice comments about the music! I'm trying to get back into it after quite a long absence. The song in this video is available on all streaming platforms, just search for "Burning Violin" by Maya Eliza. Or, if you have Spotify, just click this link: https://open.spotify.com/album/7rjBJ4dLfOyR98sP2SjoFQ?si=VtwejV3bQ0G07DT4yBMEbw

THANK YOU, thank you, THANK YOU!

  2. I paused the beautiful episode to hear the song on Spotify. ❤thank you from the heart. My stepfather who raised me was a world famous violist and violinist. The music was such a happy surprise in this episode. Small thing: there’s a little typo on your Spotify presentation page: “Maya Eliza is mostly a violinist, but sometimes she sing(s) and sometimes she plays other instruments.” Missing S. 🎊 ❤😂

  3. The progress is looking awesome. So happy to see the violin back in action keep bringing it to the build. It's absolutely beautiful and so peaceful to listen too. You two are amazing ❤

  4. Excellent progress Guys !! looking magnificent! Maya , you are now on my favorites on Spotify elevating your music on the calm of the Sunset! 🙂

  5. Bravo. Bravo. Even before Maya began to play i was humming Mcleans Starry Night. The kind of love and artistry that you both have put into this project is why i watch this channel. Its a gift to all of us, and it goes beyond boats.

  6. Wow who knew Maya had a twin! LOL
Seriously, great work Aladino. I've been sandbagging along for quite some time and enjoying the process and can't wait until she gets wet and the new water adventure begins.

  7. Hi Both. Excited about the priming ! but just picked up the burning violin on Tidal. Loved the gypsy / cuban vibe should help the priming along.
    Best yet
    Thank you

  8. Honestly I don’t know how you have the motivation to keep going day after day.
I have a wooden yacht and am an ex boat builder and struggle to get tasks done.
You guys deserve this amazing life and all the incredible adventures ahead.
You certainly work incredibly hard for it.
I love watching your progress and hope you see you out in the briney soon

  9. Great progress lovely job Aladino!
Miya what lovely music. Really enjoyed it, well Done. And l saved your tunes to mu YouTube music list absolutely great! Thanks Malkuta.

  10. Boy, All I could think about when he mixed that 2 part paint was dollar bills. I am also about to paint the topsides of my 28' CD. But, I am going cheap with Total Boat one part primer and polyurethane Wet Edge. I hope I don't regret it.

  11. Hey Aladino. The work is looking great. Have you decided what material you will use for the non-skid deck finish? My experience with a non-skid rolled on over an epoxy lay up deck (WEST system saturating epoxy laid onto a throughly dried out original teak deck from 1976) has been very good using KiwiGrip with a medium coarse roller. This produced a non-skid that is somewhat rough but attractive in a light grey color tone. It has been on now for seven years and I have retouched it once. No leaks, no evident wear, and great traction. I'll be interested to see what material and application method you employ.

  12. See the move was worth it…..Maya is back!!!!!..I come here for both of you, both bring different things to this channel..Glad to see the world's alright again.😊….as always great episode.
