When working on a transmission in the vehicle above your head and you have to install check balls you have to use assembly goo to hold then in place until you complete the job. Installing the ball bearings using a water based gel that you could rinse out afterwards would work really good.
Are those 3/8" torlon ball bearings?
Many automatic transmissions use torlon ball bearings for the check balls and the common sizes are 1/4" 5/16" and 3/8" and I have bags with hundreds of each size in them. At my transmission part's supplier they are only like 12 cents each and every overhaul kit comes with a bag containing around 10 of them.

My brother and I spent many years there on Catamarans back in the 1980s. Few if any charter Cats back then. Often we were the only people on Cats there.

Like yall, my wife and I are self-employed. The internet in the marina sucked so we bought starlink about a year and a half ago. When we moved off the boat and back into a house, we kept starlink. It’s the best internet we’ve ever had in our lives. No messing with resetting a garbage Comcast (or other) router. Pricey but we love it. Congrats on your new internet!
