  1. This sounds like a good one! I just love pirates! Unless they are trying to board my 20 foot pocket yacht! LOL But then, the pirates would probably feel sorry for me and give me some of their treasure. : – ) I have now watched the whole episode. : – ) About half way through we get to the "pirates". But nobody had an eye patch like real life (? ? ?) pirates do. Hmmmm None the less, I really enjoyed this episode. It's fun to join you as you prepare for your BIG sail across the Pacific. Best of luck for things to come.

    I've met Brady and Blue in Annapolis and am a patron. I've been a subscriber of Ruth and Garrett's channel for 6 or 7 years. That's an amazing boat that sails very well in rough seas. They are a joy to follow. You're hanging with good people😊. Be well my friends!

  3. what beautiful color of blue the water is. when your leaning to one side do you get scared you'll tip over? That is a very Cool 😎😎 boat! I wouldn't want to have to wake up and move the boat after you party all night. there is no power doing anything on the boat except your power. looks like everyone had fun

I know Garrett is digging this get together and all the great company….followed Salt n Tar since they poured the Keel, and Garret' DELOS hat (Im pretty sure it is a Delos hat) ,to moving the Hull to Napa to ReddaVida Sea Trials…through the engine drama. thanks all of you for bringing us along….Salt And Tar's episodes arent this far up to date! LOL thanks Bill n Grace for updating us on Brady n Blue n Ruth n Garret's progress! BOOM ! YOU ROCK!

  24. Wow, talk about it all coming together in one place. I've been watching Salt and Tar since they first left way up north and sailed past my home in Humboldt Bay ! When I first saw it I thought NO WAY but the boat has proven itself. The only thing I had ever seen happen was the loss of their anchor ! And wow, Brady is even there ! And I absolutely love the hand powered winch, what a great way to get an anchor up. So smart ! Love those guys ! Michael N6GRG

  25. I have followed Garrett and Ruth pretty much from the beginning. Bing watching is highly recommended. They sent their 20's building that boat!!!! So Cool!

  31. Fond memories…I grew up sailing and after first boat my parents only went with classic wood boats. When grown my brother had a 1926 Danish pilot boat spitz rig, we had a K38 and a Sea Spirit, our first was a Sabre 32. Love your channel. When you said it smells so good! Yep smell of good wood is fantastic! Smooth sailing…
