  1. Wow !! he is unrecognizable!!! incredible work! too bad there are no longer the bay windows on the second deck, I think that really gives it some character!. crazy it's hard to believe it's the same . " The 49.9-metre Feadship superyacht Azteca has been relaunched and renamed Koru following an extensive, two-year rebuild with Ocean Technical."

  2. Amazing job work by this channel to present such yachts in such a detailed and informative way. It takes a lot of effort to tour, film and upload videos especially when their accurate narration instead of silent walk through videos.
Also the shipyard has done an exceptional job of retrofitting and making a new and better than original with modern equipment

  3. Really interesting video, very thorough tour of an amazing old yacht. The crew quarters are quite comfortable considering the age when this yacht was built. Extremely odd salon layout – there is no connection or view from the salon to the aft deck. Refit nice but I don't think white carpeting will work well in the new dining area. Even with a refit, I bet this yacht is a continuous maintenance challenge simply due to its advanced age and complexity. The helm area instrumentation was ancient.

  4. I'm not a broker, but surely the best way to sell a boat is not when it having the re-fit done?? do video when its done and dressed??? weird!!

  5. I thought it was the finish product after the refit we were going to see, can't wait to see the finish re fit

  6. I enjoy your presentations alot. While for me it's interesting to see the yachts unfinished and in the process of refiting, I think presenting it after it was completely done would have been better. Maybe it's just my instincts speaking to me since I am from a country where "this and that will get fixed and get done"means "this is how it will remain".

  7. Fascinating if you've watched the first video. I like most of the changes. Some see the forward skylight as a loss. In real life that would have been a salt spray-clouded disaster most of the time, imo, as well as an HVAC nightmare. I'd rather have my crew keeping me safe and comfortable, not washing windows.
That wide staircase at the stern will be great in the Med, etc. Not so sure about rougher waters. Probably why there's no typical double-door access to the salon/saloon ?
Two things I'd definitely change; the solid bulwarks outside that great sky lounge; why have those huge windows if 2/3 of the view is blocked ? And the wood flooring in the galley & crew areas seems like a well-intentioned mistake. Ironic that it makes the crew area more pleasing to the eye (probably quieter, too) but much higher maintenance for them. Otherwise, fantastic crew area, though.

That engine room is amazing. Classic Feadship engineering & design. Never seen Mercedes generators on a yacht before.

  8. That would have been a refit I would have liked to run.. So much potential there.. Your english is very good by the way.. I always enjoy coming here especially when the boat is undergoing a refit.. Carry on!

  9. I think the renovation is a failure! It should have been kept completely original. Just updated everything, and it would have been fine. This is just sad.

  10. I like your videos, and all the info. I appreciate you trying so hard to get the English right, and for the most part you do a very good job of it. But if I may, there's one thing I'd like to help with. In the crew quarters, when you describe their sleeping arrangements, the word is BUNK beds, not bank beds. U as in umbrella.

  11. It's hard for me to understand why you wouldn't just wait until until the refitting is completed to do a walk through. I'm no professional, but if the purpose of the video is to sell the boat, wouldn't it make sense to show it completed and looking It's absolute best?

  12. Great presentation Eliad, thanks!

I’m sure the yard has also done fantastic work; Türkiye has been under appreciated for the magic that happens there.

I can’t say the same thing about Ocean Technical who decided to butcher Azteca to do a fast flip. There is absolutely no truth in their attributed statement “We wanted to retain the Bannenberg feel but bring it to a modern day where it is more practical and usable – whilst retaining the respect to Jon."
