#vg2024 #imoca #vendeeglobe #sailing

Stunning speeds
Boris, the weather gods are conspiring against you but I'm still rooting for you.
Good sail change video, lots of hustle involved! Respect!
@conradcolman What a scary operation to take the windward running backstay apart while fully powered up. I had expected the load change to be done with a change in the deflector. Footage from MS Amlin is the most educational by a mile.
Great Job Conrad.
Super challenge, tutorial, news, fun and above all all good and safe till the finish
Loving Conrad's tutorials!
9m waves.
Faaark. Be safe!
Thanks Conrad Colman for his amazing videos
Excellent reporting thank you.
What I love about this VG are these onboard videos. I cam into this VG as a fresh fan of Team Malizia (Boris, Will, Nico, Rosie) from the Ocean Race two years ago. And thanks to all the onboard videos, I've gotten such an appreciation for all the other skippers, Conrad, Jean, Pip, Yoanne, Olli to name just a few. It's an awesome adventure and I love that we are able to have these peaks inside this adventure and the skippers sharing it with us. Thank you, Merci beaucoup!
Sams mainsail is teared… Hope he gets opportunity to repair. There will be more damage in the next days, more big storms are coming to this area with very high sea state this week
Conrad is an excellent communicator. He would do well as a major media race commentator.
Can anybody explain to me, how these Videos from outside or above the boats are taken? Do the sailors let fly drones?? Is that possible, when they are alone in board?
Looks like a smart move by Boris to turn left enabling him to get upwind a bit and then get on a pretty tack.
