27. I have 5 slipped discs and have had for decades in different parts of my back (tried to catch a 36 gallon barrel of real ale as it was being "racked"). The best "fix" for me is exercise. Cycling, Horse riding or Motorcycling as these activities exercise the muscles in your back. Sitting in a car, at a desk etc. is bad. Your back problem may need a different treatment, your chiropractor is the best person to advise you.
