2. These are in theory unsinkable, yes I know, but they don’t take on full ballast water, they become neutrally buoyant and they descend by use of vertical thrusters, if those thrusters lose power, or are disabled it floats back to surface. Now if it’s flooded, that’s another story

19. Unfortunately, I’ve heard and read that tourism in Egypt is very unpleasant. The authorities (police and government) are very unhelpful, and often the businesses view tourists as a crop to be harvested, instead of providing a real service for payment.

31. I had no reservations going on a Viking River cruise on the Nile River and after that vacation, I still don't. I would not go on anything from a company I am not familiar with. Viking provided an armed guard on all day trips and excursions. Sometimes, Cario detectives or uniform policemen.

32. Just want to make a comment about your statement about the oxygen masks that deploy in an emergency. They are probably not oxygen masks but actually just plain air. As a scuba diver I was taught that breathing pure oxygen while underwater is extremely dangerous.

    Egypt is dead if tourism is going down and the suez canal is empty cause container ships take the route around good hope like in recent months.

    Simply do not visit such high risk no safety adventures – avoid egypt and go to greece or any EU country where you can expect at least low safety measurements.
