This week we head to the main island of Eleuthera to discover its rich history and epic natural landmarks, including: ✅ Preacher’s Cave – where shipwrecked settlers first lived 400+ years ago ✅ The iconic Glass Window Bridge – where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean ✅ Sapphire blue holes ✅ The Incredible and serene Queen’s Bath Don’t worry thought Lindsey still finds her way back to the beach where she finds a horse to Hop la bordul bareback și legitim verifică ceva de pe lista ei de găleată! Great Part II to Harbour Island. Looking forward to next week. Thanks again for taking us with you! Cheers!
ha, I never expect my man either take garbage. We just work like a team and do whatever needs to be done. That is a sign of a solid couple. love quick view of the stars. Was that truly your view! so many! awesome. WOW, need visit those beaches, amazing, enjoy.
Really nice video…didnt expect the Trump cameo at 24:55. Killer videography!
No I hate it
Loving the videos! Curious.. Do you use your AC when you're out on anchor?
All natural bug repellant is in reality, an organic meat tenderizer!😂
I have found that eating garlic helps keep mosquitoes away. The glass bridge and the queen's bath were amazing. I'm really enjoying the history of each place as well. Excellent video and drone footage. Have a great week….
Actually Parrotfish Consume The Reef && Its Their Waste That Helps That Natural Pink Hue 😉
I love watching Lindsay seeing new things, like a child seeing something for the first time and saying, "WOW"! Nathan, I sorry for your experience with the mosquitos. I personally am a mosquito magnet. Have fun, be safe and don't forget to laugh!
I always look forward to your episodes. I love how you keep things so real.. I hope you guys can do this for the rest of your lives.. You two are either great actors or perfect for each other..
I’m a new subscriber any I’m enjoying your content, thanks
20:03 they were Catholics, who sadly were forced to flee religious prosecution by the English portestant monarchy.
I chose y'all over F1 Practice this morning…Ok, it's on in the background LOL! Another fun video, but still no toolbox tour 🤣 Looking forward to next weeks video.
Dear Nathan and Lindsey,
I just finished watching your latest episode of The 71%, and I had to reach out. I absolutely love your show—your honesty, your dynamic, and most of all, the beautiful relationship you share. You complement each other so well, and it’s incredibly refreshing to see how naturally and genuinely you get along.
I can’t wait to see what’s next in the Abacos. Thank you for letting us come along for the ride!
Warmly,
Jose & Emma
You know us mammals are not that suited for water but we SURE are drawn to it,
If you could go back to when you first started this adventure, what advice would you have for yourself?
My wife would love to know where you got your necklace. It looks stunning.
The beaches and the color of that water is stunning!! 😮❤😮
After watching your videos my wife and I must make another trip to this region. I also don’t like mosquitos
As for your pump wiring.
Only a bad ground will corrode wires.
Most likely pump housing ground.
Outstanding places… making me wanting to move to the US get a boat and do the same journey!
Nice Videos. One thing I have noticed with your videos of Bahamas or most of Caribbean Islands, very few homes have solar panels. Energy (oil/gas) has to imported and is very expensive in these islands. Any reason why? Homes you were walking by next to marina are not cheap and if I have to guess very few people can afford them and I did not see any solar panels there either?
Men are not usually judgy to each other like women are. But a man seeing him letting you carry the garbage, would look at him like a woman looks at another woman wearing the same prom dress as hers.
Modern cars can’t run without a battery because the battery is an essential part of the entire vehicle’s electrical and control system, even after the engine is started. Here’s why:
⸻
⚡ 1. The Battery Powers the Car’s Brain (ECU)
• The Engine Control Unit (ECU) and dozens of other computers (for transmission, braking, airbags, etc.) require constant 12V power from the battery.
• If you disconnect the battery while the car is running:
• These modules shut down or malfunction.
• The engine will often stall immediately or enter a fail-safe mode.
⸻
⚙️ 2. The Alternator Needs the Battery to Function Properly
• Modern alternators do not generate power on their own — they need an electrical field provided by the battery to begin charging.
• The alternator also relies on the ECU for voltage regulation and current control.
• Without a battery:
• The alternator may produce unstable voltage.
• Sensitive electronics can get damaged by voltage spikes.
⸻
🔌 3. Electrical Systems Are Always On
• Even when the engine is running, the battery supplies:
• Power to ignition coils (spark)
• Fuel pumps
• Sensors and actuators
• Dash displays, drive-by-wire systems, and more
• Without a stable voltage source (the battery), these critical systems fail.
⸻
💻 4. Everything Is Computer-Controlled
• Older cars had mechanical ignition and fuel systems — they could keep running without a battery if the alternator was charging.
• Modern cars are digital: disconnect the battery, and the whole software-based infrastructure fails.
⸻
❌ 5. Disconnecting the Battery Can Damage the Car
• Sudden loss of the battery while the alternator is producing power can:
• Cause voltage spikes.
• Damage ECUs, infotainment, sensors, or alternator diodes.
• It can also erase learned data (like fuel trims, idle settings, radio presets).
⸻
🧠 Bottom Line
A modern car needs the battery even after the engine starts.
• It powers the electronic control systems.
• It buffers and stabilizes voltage from the alternator.
• It prevents damage and shutdowns.
So if the battery dies, is disconnected, or is poorly connected, a modern car will either not start, stall, or behave erratically.
I watched the live chat after you went off,but I think you should do your live chats when your on long runs always for 2 reasons 1) it is very entertaining to us viewers 2) I think it will help you feel like you have company on trip and pass some time in a very fun way. Love you two! Mark
Dial back the music on every scene. Unnecessary.
Man I love yall y’all’s channel. Or is it you guys is? Either way.
Nice job again guys! There’s so much to Eleuthera it’s hard to experience all of it even if you had two weeks. Two of my favorite places anywhere are French Leave beach, totally spectacular near the capital of Governors Harbour. Then the magnificent Lighthouse Point beach at the very southern tip. Truly a gem.
Beautiful scenery again! It’s so fun to be following your journey. I grew up in the Florida keys and loveee the Bahamas so much❤
I have to know @lindsey what kind of shoes are you wearing that you can go into the water with please?
Maverick is owned by German entrepreneur and investor Tom Schröder, but it is in fact named after Maverick (Tom Cruise's character) from Top Gun 🙂
Love the episode and you guys! One question: what is the name of your boat?!! I even paused the video on the shot of the transom and still can't figure it out😂. That's some illegible graffiti!
Use a personal bug guard , use 100% deat. Also try a net hood hat alone with light color clothes
