Would you like to see more content from Liam and Aiaia next year?? I personally thought our Norway Series was great with two boats sailing neck and neck.
Excellent Liam .. mission accomplished .. great to watch , so pleased for you .. and a bit jealous..lol .. best wishes from cornwall
That is the tidiest cockpit and cabin o have seen on "any" sailing video.
Sailing with Thomas – one of the more respected YouTuber sailors always sleeps of a day and stays awake on night watches. I can see his logic – it's easier to deal with a surprise on waking and having daylight. Plus other things. Interesting strategy.
1019 miles in nine days,
Good on ya!
Liam is signal in all the sailing YT noise. An uncluttered & tidy boat inside & out; brilliantly merges analogue & digital navigation; always chipper, respecting & marvelling each moment; stays humble. Yeah, more please Liam!
Great video and a very relevant and accurate note on the usage and pitfalls of AIS !
Cheers
Harry
It has been great to follow your trip south – well done! Looking forward to more from both boats in '26!
Question: what is the line for and for what reason is it around your SB aft antenna poole ?
Thnx
Harry
Welcome to Vigo.
If you need anything in this city and I can help, contact me. I live here and I'm from here. Regards
Just brilliant of you to take time out to let us join you out there. You are doing a great job explaining exactly what's happening aboard. Your attention to the weather is so important as to what to expect ahead. Hope everything goes well for you & thanks you again, Liam…
There is a new device out called 'wal pal'. It sends out a signal which the Orcas don't like and they stay away from the boats. In a ca 50m radius. You can find it via google. Be safe out there.
You could use a parasailor.😎
Well done Liam Great achievement solo especially solo
Respect
Fair winds to you ⛵️
Is there a particular reason why you favour the autopilot over the Monitor vane gear? I always found my Monitor excellent on all points of sail including dead downwind.
I think I recognise your anchorage – Ensenada Da Barra? A.k.a. ‘Barear*e Bay’ – if you were there in warmer weather you’d see why 😂!
Liam Royal Marine?
The tidyness, and some other things are very familiar 😂 Hard to unlearn.
Thank you for some good honest sailing without all the BS. I am hoping to sail from East Anglia to the Azore within a couple of years and found your episodes helpful and confidence building. Glad you missed the Orca pods!
Good job, man.
Good one.😀and real🤩
Quire a good sail… Nicely handled…
Thanks Liam for taking us with you. Nice look into your life on board. Great explaining. Good luck.
My God. The offering to Neptune was "scottish". Just kidding. Nice video.
I just appreciate how tidy and clean the boat is inside and out thank you! I know it can be rough on long passages to keep clean but so much much nicer than the dumpsters featured on other channels.
It was a nice sail, no drama with orcas. I was impressed by how tidy the boat looks inside for the long passage. Subscribed. Cheers.
Too clean and tidy Bro…..must be Navy??!!😂
I think you've got some babe onboard doing the cooking and the cleaning like!!??
By the way what cleaning products do you like to use in a seaway??
Liam, I am a sailor myself looking to cross Biscay next summer. Your content is perfect and an inspiration. Well done on your arrival. Fair winds. 😀
I enjoyed the informational text you added. Its a great way to convey even more seamanship and tips!
Two great viedoes from you. Well done doing a trip like this that time a year. Love this sailing Safar channel no bullshit or bikini girls just pure sailing as it was meant to be. Happy new year to both of you. Fra a solosailer from Denmark sailing and living on my old Moody36cc ZENSEB
I wonder if attaching a spinnaker sheet between your 2nd or 3rd mainsheet leech reefing point and the fwd cleat stop the flogging?
nice trip for November 👍. Was also in Biskaya in November 28 years ago, looked a little bit different 😂😂😂
You have a long keel boat, do you? No need to worry about Orcas, I never heard of an attack to a full keeler. What do you think?
Great installment – Nice one Morgan & Liam.
I have enjoyed your down to earth video Liam. Thanks to you and to Morgan
Fantastic achievement. A great watch.
Looking forward to your future adventures.
Good luck fair winds
Great video and a nice look at a long solo passage. Well done mate! Drink and sleep sound like a well-deserved treat! Thanks for taking us on your ride! Happy new year’s
Long nights, steady miles, and the simple joy of landfall. Beautifully real.
Can you please tell me what type of yacht you sailing. Enjoy your trip. Kiwi
It looks like the fish are claiming back the sea as theirs. Here’s hoping you not get worried by them kiwi.
Another great episode
