Woo! Finally got a tour of the master stateroom! 🎉
Ive watched almost all your videos and after watching this there is way more going in with that thing than i had previously thought. Man, that thing is one heck of an endeavor.

2:42 That shit behind you looked like a snake about to bite you… i had to double take
Thanks for tour. Very cosy home on the water. Still plenty of work ahead, looking forward to future upgrade projects.
Good luck with that, looks to me like another project which never be finished. Not because the effort you put in, but due to lack of sufficient funds. Living in your project also doesn’t help. But hey, if you guys are following your dreams, who am I to disapprove 😉 All the Best👍🏼
This is great! Phenomenal work!
I'd never get it all done. I'm terrible at starting a project, getting it 90% done and usable, and then get interested in the next neato thing and I'm onto something else. Maybe that'll be my 2026 resolution, start finishing things before I move on.
Detroit FTW. Your greatest mistake was installing overly complex power plants.
Very good video Blaine I always like to see what you've been up to… I'm the Yankees wirh the steamboat
Good luck on the upcoming talk. 2 things. 1. Most of us hate public speaking. So, anyone listening to you, knows how you feel. 2. As I said before, "mask" yourself into another person. Pick a speaker you admire, and be that person. You aren't pretending – you ARE that person. Like a spy infiltrating a group. That way, "you" aren't speaking – "they" are. Ask any autistic person, it will get you through some horrible situations. You do amazing on here, so you got this anyway.
love that vessel, good fortune to you both and thank you for taking us on some of your life's journey, defiantly different to most of us and verry interesting.
You showed several leaks and said you would address them in the future. I would think those would be a priority especially the one over the electrical panel.
We have a Fridgidaire Induction cooktop, just over a year old now and it's been very good. It's amazing how much easier it is to keep clean than the old style glass cooktops!
Just have Janice stand there with a camera during your speech. That way you are just making a video so nothing to be nervous about.
She's gonna be spectacular! 🙂
Priority on a Boat,fix the Leaks ?
I for one, am sure happy you decided to rescue Tangaroa, she has such nice lines.
I know boats are in a constant state of repair but I can't wait to see what she looks like once you get done.
Weight on the roof ,one night think that you would have any weight down low ?
So glad Blaine has an escape door from the state room 😅
So much work to do but mostly organizing Stuff aye ?
Seeing as you are back in Victoria, perhaps a major clear out would give you a much better work space for all the areas that need to be sorted ?
The golden rule is if it ain't been touched in two years, out it goes ??
A packing box on the wharf ,full it up and if possible store it at your property?.
Maybe I'm harsh ,bit thinking as an old fella ,age takes away one energy and every task takes time and gets harder to do ,even if you push yourself.
Think of the Boat as your retirement home where you want to be able to enjoy things at a reasonable pace.
Suppose it's a pick your projects!
Take care
Thanks for the tour guys. How long do you plan on leaving the exterior like it is? I know you like it that way because you don't need to worry about scratching the paint, but I was watching Luke McFadden the other day and he said that one of the best finishes for aluminum boats is vinyl wrap. It attaches extremely well won't bubble you can choose what ever color you want or add any custom graphics you want. Something to think about…..
Would love to learn more about your hurricane heater setup: the water loops, the fan heaters, thermostats, etc. I've been thinking of investing in one and there is limited content online that I have been able to find.
Finley the tour. good video . looks like you spiffed up your man cave engine room . impressive my friends. I know dam well when your finished with your yacht. I'll would trust yours than a new
one . the old stuff is a lot more reliable then new chit. ill always be for analog than the touch screens. impressive tour . I seen every video . you guys came a long way
I like the engine upgrades, but the look of the boat I don’t agree with you went ugly duckling compared to a beautiful boat ,You should’ve spent money on repairing what it needed and left it white
hi folks happy new year to you and your family . thank you for the tour ,i have been watching you both for a few years now and (i,m old lol ) i forgot about the wheel house battery bank , (learned so much) the re engine , the mufflers (what a job) the fuel valves etc etc ,the things that only take a few minutes to explain but take days, weeks , months and in some cases years to plan , start ,engineer and complete, and then to contemplate is that good enough or could i have done better ?????? The helm position inches off I get that ONLY a ocd boat owner LIKE ME would understand but the scary thing was !!!!!! paper charts a panasonic toughbook i have the both ??? are we related ???? all joking asides you both are amazing (hope this post doesn,t sound to weird I talk not to good at typing ALL the best for 2026 fare winds and calm sea,s
👍👍👍
Thank you and best wishes for 2026
Dear Desperately Seeking Generator: have you considered the Hatz PMDC units? They’re less powerful than your existing units, but they are actually designed to be generators, probably will pay for themselves in term of fuel usage over a few years.
Hi Blaine & Janis 😉 A very interesting video showing us the big picture tour 😉 Plenty of content potential for 2026 then !
Cheers Ray (UK)
What ship systems require compressed air?
Also curious what your plans are for exterior windows and hatches given issues you’ve highlighted in earlier videos.
Happy New Year!!
26:31 so another four or five years to finish?🎉
👍👍👍
I KNOW I KNOW ITS A WORK BOAT but this is giving Hoarder vibes ii mean there's literally stuff everywhere my ocd would drive me nuts
That countertop looks so nice
6 years not a single space is done bc of some reason 😀 gg wp
I am actually considering buying a boat that needs to be repowered. It has a pair of clapped out saber 225's. I have been wondering about air cooled engines and how well they would do in a boat of this size. Does the engine room get hotter than with water cooled?
You aren’t supposed to call them Stewardess anymore. The correct term is Space Waitress.
i hope these guys get popular on youtube to get the money to do this proper
This guy is a genius, reminds me of the professor on Gilligan's Island. He is a technical wizard.
