4. Such a shame you will be taking the Amsterdan-Rijn kanaal. It is an uninteresting and buisy canal You'll be missing out on a beautifully piece of Holland by not going over the Vecht to Muiden.

5. I'm sure marine lithium batteries are safetied pretty well, but I would be worried about damage and fire, because if they catch it's almost impossible to put them out. EV cars have burned down from hitting big potholes and slamming around in rough seas would scare me.

6. ive always wondered why it hasn't been figured out, how to develop a non cording conducting metal that cna be used with the batteries like you have dealt with there. like, a silver/copper alloy or something. or maybe a gold alloy. copper seems like a liability in a watery and salty environment. anyways, just a thought. i just discovered you guys. =)

8. FYI you use vinegar is what you use to clean battery corrosion . Not baking soda

9. Check the charging systems too. Voltage regulator on the engine alternator, etc..

10. My father bought my mother a brand-new Cadillac DeVille, and I needed him to jump-start the family's dated Chevy truck one morning. After 20 minutes of searching for his battery, he found it under the rear seat. He placed the seat back, drove it to the dealer, and traded it in for a New Impala. He was done with fancy cars after 2 days. He always talked about his 1960's Impala. I remember that vehicle.

11. Great job. Very through, I think you both are aware, but be very cautious of spreading the corrosion or liquid coming off the batteries. its very destructive.

    Good luck on your new to you Houseboat. God knows why you’d switch from blowboat to Houseboat. It’s nice though. Looks kinda like a newish motorhome like you used to have. Twist the key and go. Or a travel trailer.

14. Loosen the set screw on that tiller knob and turn it 180 degrees…there ya go..you don't have to mind flip, it will be the right way round.

15. Tin plated buss bars should get less corrosion. Also a coating of noalox can help. I would not get lithium batteries they blow up fire and boats bad. a deep cycle agm

16. Hey Guys, I'd talk with Dakota lithium about their lithium starter / dual purpose batteries. They do have very high current discharge burst rates suitable for at least some thruster applications. Good luck 🙂
