Finding the balance between the two is tough, but rewarding! I'm 76 now and don't regret choosing to live on the water with our 27' Balboa swing keel. I made good money in the 80's doing mechanical and electrical repairs for small sub-contractor shops. Six months of side work enabled six months of sailing! Accept that dissapointments will come no matter which life you choose and enjoy the sea!…
