You can take a C26 to windward under Genoa only.
With roller furling that can be very useful.
I have tacked up to my mooring, through all the other moorings, under genny only, and rolled it away at the last minute.
Not all that last minute as the C26 carries it's way.

Lovely bit of collaboration. Was it the lack of wind or camera angle, the foot looked pretty loose on both reefs to me. Could the little reefing cars be moved aft a bit to tighten the foot on the reefs? Usually want a flat sail when reefed as it will be quite windy.
Been watching him since episode 1. He is sailing finally, on another channel…. Nice video.
