The hospital scene choked me right up. I watched my Mum take her last breath in a palliative care ward and I'll never forget it. Fucking horrible it was. Funeral limited to 10 due to the biggest scam in modern history.

I'm having a hard day. It's my parents 58 anniversary. My funny, crazy, Chef and super cool Dad passed away in 2009. We were the best catfish fryers, and the best oysters smokers, and of course the best brisket bbq smokers. But I'm so fortunate to have my beautiful Mother. She will be 82 on 4/17. Have a Swiss globetrotter friend whom I met in Australia many years ago whose favourite country is Malaysia, he now has spent winter in Swedish outback hostel! He will soon return to Malaysia, I suspect.
Motherly care when mum is in hospital is admirable when far away adventuring. My own mother suffered many years of dementia etc, passed away 2012 when I was stuck as a "refugee" in Malta.
