21. Interesting. Mr. Schmidt used to own Cloud 9 that was called Infinity before he sold it and now owns another yacht that's called Infinity that is much larger than Cloud 9. It's 117 meters. He kept the support vessel Intrepid built by Damen. That 67 million dollar purchase is chicken feed to a guy worth 20 billion.

I'm sure they are all relieved to finally have some direction, as nine of them had been paid since March 2022. She's still one of our favorite yachts, and I can't wait to see her sailing again.

28. The shipowner in debt tries to deny its possesion. Selling a ship by the government is by the curator to pay debts and fines otherwise it's juridical impossible. Even a technical problem in design can be the cause.
    A ship with a technical failure is not easy to sell for the consequences. Probably they sold scrap. The market missed the neutrality of the original buro Veritas.

38. Antigua news reports that an appeal was filed, purportedly by the then owner, the day previous to the sale. They also sought an injunction to stop the sale but the matter has not yet been heard. I do not imagine that the buyer will be paying anything until that issue is sorted. It is stated that the money from the sale is going to be kept by Antigua.

46. Do you know if the original Captain is still with the boat as one of the five crew members you just mentioned. If it was abandoned, does it still have to have a Captain if it just sits in port? I know that to legally sail it a properly licesensed Captian who is certified for the tonnage is required. Just curious.
