  1. Another great video this week shows more of the behind-the-scenes. Chief Engineer Alex and Steve did a great job showing what it takes to fill up Loon as we prepared to cross the Atlantic Ocean to start our summer season in the Mediterranean. Next week, the crossing starts 😎

  2. National average gas prices

    Regular Mid-Grade Premium Diesel E85
    Current Avg. $3.454 $3.912 $4.253 $3.792 $2.826
    Yesterday Avg. $3.441 $3.897 $4.240 $3.790 $2.820
    Week Ago Avg. $3.503 $3.966 $4.305 $3.842 $2.879
    Month Ago Avg. $3.619 $4.077 $4.417 $3.939 $2.946
    Year Ago Avg. $3.594 $4.019 $4.345 $3.907 $2.964

  3. I'm all for freedom and love my diesel/gas motors, but man – something feels really over the top about 35,000 gallons of fuel for a private luxury trip.

  4. Really great video, always interesting to note the difference between a US gallon, and a Imperial gallon. Love to know what you pay for fuel in the US, delivered to the dock in this way, doesn’t look ideal place to bunker with such a long distance between the truck and the yacht?

  5. This video was GREAT. I learned so much about bunkering. (Landlocked Texas gal. Boats are foreign to me.) I especially loved the long shot along the pumping tubes. What a distance! I have no idea how much this costs (Texas gas prices vs. Florida gas prices??) But I can't wait to hear the numbers. Cheers to Engineering Chief Alex and the rest of the Crew🥂

  6. Why was the fuel pink? I’m guessing it’s powered by cat marine engines which run on diesel. Is there an additive put in to make it easier to spot leaks? Like green coolant or the die in a ac system?

  7. People who watch You Tube don't tend to own super yachts, owning one will only ever be a fantasy to them, a rather pointless fantasy.

  8. First video of seeing this kind of stuff, seems overkill by 200% just fuel up and go, wth you keeping a sample for a year, if your fuel is shite you would know it

  9. 35,000 gals of fuel is roughly the amount the average person would use in their car over 50 years of driving… IMHO it's a crime against humanity for one person to use this level of the planet's resources on themselves and create this much greenhouse gases while the planet is literally burning up…

  10. $50M yacht and checking fuel cloudiness with a $5 flashlight. Not a bad video, it’s cool to see behind the scenes. Could we get a video like this without the music??

  11. cool vid, but this makes it even more ridiculous that i pay a carbon tax on the $23 worth of natural gas i use a month in my apartment.

  12. oh hell naw I would never do that stop again to slow that the premium diesel that stop should have under ground storage units so u can fill up at the dock
